Now, more details have surfaced of Natalie’s ex-husband.

TLC 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers –  Who Is Natalie Mordovtseva‘s Ex-Husband?

Natalie Mordovtseva first appeared with Mike Youngquist on season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé. At that stage, the pair was waiting for her K-1 visa to be approved. However, there was a delay in the process, so Mike chose to fly from his hometown of Sequim, Washington, to be with Natalie in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Natalie wanted Mike to meet her best friend, Svetlana, so they went out for dinner together. As Natalie’s closest friend, Svetlana had questions for her American beau. Apologizing for her questions, she asked him if he knew that her heart had been broken before. Svetlana said she is “very worried” about their future together. Mike explained that he knew about Natalie’s past with her ex-husband, but had few details of what led to their divorce.

Later, Natalie opened up in her confessional, revealing details about her former marriage. She explained that she had met her ex-husband through friends in Ukraine. However, due to his work, he traveled a lot.

After eight years of marriage, they didn’t have any children and she realized this is not what she signed up for. Natalie wants to have a child and a family, so she left her husband. She added that she knew this was the right decision. After Mike vowed to “fix” Natalie’s broken heart, Svetlana gave him her seal of approval.

Natalie Mordovtseva, And Mike Youngquist In Season 8

Natalie and Mike are now appearing in season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé where her K-1 visa was finally approved, despite their relationship problems. While their relationship seemed to be on the rocks, Mike and Natalie did agree that she should move to America. This would given them 90 days before their wedding and would give them the time they need to resolve their issues.

The couple attended couples therapy and finally set their wedding date, which happened to be just three days prior to her K-1 visa’s expiration. Mike and Natalie’s wedding date was in April 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. This meant that Svetlana was unable to fly to Washington to attend the wedding, due to travel bans. Fans watched as Natalie and Svetlana chatted about her upcoming marriage via video chat. The Ukrainian reality star explained that she and Mike are still planning a bigger wedding ceremony and reception at a later date, after the pandemic was over.

In her confessional, Natalie explained that her first wedding was “huge” and they had a lot of guests and hired an expensive hotel. In fact they spent a “crazy amount of money” on the wedding and reception.

90 Day Fiancé Spoilers –  What Kind Of Wedding Does Natalie Mordovtseva Want?

A TLC producer asked Natalie if she wanted her wedding to Mike to be similar to her first wedding. She admitted that she doesn’t, because Youngquist would not be able to afford such a big wedding. Natalie added that she doesn’t need a huge wedding, as she has already had one.

Mordovtseva went on to describe her dream wedding. She says this time, she wants a wedding next to the ocean, wearing a beautiful gown with music, flowers and guests and a “nice party.” However, the COVID-19 pandemic cut short their plans. Natalie said what they are ending up having is her and Michael next to the pond, “the blue lagoon,” which is kind of not what she wanted.

As big group gatherings were out of the question during the pandemic, the only people invited to Natalie and Mike’s wedding were their neighbor, Tamara – who befriended Natalie when she arrived in the states – along with Mike’s Uncle Beau and Teresa, their wedding officiant.

Natalie said that finally, after almost three months, she and Michael were on the same page and their future is lined up. She added that she is getting to the end of her 90 days, but it didn’t bother her, as they were getting married the next day. The TLC reality star said everything was great and that she is excited.

As noted by Us Weekly, despite all the excitement, Youngquist had a bad case of cold feet. On the morning of their marriage, he told Natalie he couldn’t go through with the wedding. Mike told her she had to return to Ukraine. While their relationship appeared to be over and done, fans will have to tune in to see what happens next.
