Jackée Harry’s Character Details

DOOL comings and goings confirm that Harry has been cast as Lani’s relative, Paulina. She is super successful, driven, extremely independent, owns her own business, and outspoken. She is also hinted to bring plenty of drama to Salem but in a fun way. When she arrives in Salem, it will be the same time that Lani and Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) are searching for their kidnapping twin babies. The timing of Paulina’s arrival will be put under a microscope. However, head writer Ron Carlivati hinted to Soap Opera Digest that the timing might be a bit suspect, but Paulina really came to town to reconnect with her family.

Precious Way Plays Chanel

Days of Our Lives comings and goings reveal that BlackFilm.com announced actress Precious Way plays newcomer Chanel. She is confirmed to be Paulina’s daughter and they will come to Salem together. When the news was first announced, it was only said that Paulina was related to Eli and Lani’s family. About a week after that, the head writer clarified to SOD that Paulina is related to Lani and Abe Carver (James Reynolds). They are reportedly are going to first appear in March 2021. However, we might get some hints of their first storyline during February Sweeps.

Harry talked about her excitement being added to the NBC soap family. She mentioned that she comes to Salem to reconnect with her family.
