Judging by fan reactions on the social media platforms, Andrew Kenton has become the most disliked cast member of season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé. Andrew decided to open up and acknowledge that he has been a self-proclaimed “d-bag,” adding that he “can’t help it.” Connecting with fans on an Instagram Q&A he said he wasn’t entirely to blame for his portrayal on the show. He insists that TLC gave him a bad edit on the show.

90 Day Fiancé viewers were angry with Kenton when he didn’t seem to do much to rescue his fiancée, Amira Lollysa, from detention. He had initially called various authorities to try and figure out what had happened to Amira in Mexico. However, when that proved to be a hopeless task, he chose to sit back and relax in his hotel room.

90 Day Fiancé fans were shocked to watch him enjoying his vacation, while his partner was behind bars. Following this, he forced Amira to go to Serbia alone and to then attempt to cross the American border. The French-Egyptian beauty was naturally terrified, but flew to Serbia, where she quarantined for 14 days.

However, the night before she was to fly to the US, Andrew sent her some abusive and threatening texts. When fans saw the offensive messages, many called Andrew a “psychopath,” “sociopath,” or “creep” for his actions.

TLC 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – Andrew Kenton Holds An Instagram Q&A

During his recent Instagram Q&A, one fan asked why people despite him so much. Andrew obviously sees all the hate online, so he decided to reply to that question.

Kenton explained that 90 Day Fiancé has a bad reputation and that its cast members are usually judged by their first impressions. Those first impressions are difficult for many viewers to get past. When another fan asked if he was badly edited, or whether the producer had shown both sides accurately, Andrew said it was all bad editing.

Kenton, who joined 90 Day Fiancé in season 8, believes he has been misrepresented and given a bad portrayal by the reality network. He said TLC should have taken responsibility for how some of his actions came across to viewers.

When speaking of the negative comments he receives online, Andrew said he can cope this it. He explained that he is “surfing the hate tsunami and I’m getting pretty good at surfing.” However, he did say that not everybody on the Internet hates him. In fact, one of his loyal fans said Andrew was “innocent” and did nothing wrong. Replying to that, Andrew said, “That’s right! And that’s why we apologize to absolutely f**king nobody.”

However, it isn’t just the show. Andrew was accused of seemingly threatening one of the show’s most-loved stars, David Toborowsky for supporting Amira online. David’s wife, Annie Suwan chipped in with a sassy response. She called Andrew out for his selfish behavior at the Mexican resort, where he was seen enjoying steak while Amira was detained. Those actions weren’t something fans could swallow easily. It can only be hoped that Kenton has learned a few life lessons while appearing on 90 Day Fiancé.

Fans can watch 90 Day Fiancé on TLC, Sundays at 8 pm ET.
