TLC ’90 Day Fiance’: Andrei Accuses Elizabeth’s Sister Jenn Of Throwing Cheap Shots!

TLC -90 Day Fiancé-Happily Ever After: Andrei Castravet, Elizabeth PotthastTLC “90 Day Fiancé-Happily Ever After” star Andrei Castravet has had his go-rounds with his in-laws ever since he married Elizabeth Potthast, and they have gotten even worse since the couple went to his native town of Chisinau, Moldova so that they could marry for the second time in front of his family, and their baby girl Eleanor could be baptized, as well as her mother. But now, since Elizabeth’s mother Pamela, her stepfather Walter, and sister Jenn have arrived for the wedding, joining her father and brother Chuck and Charlie Potthast, things have gotten even worse!

TLC 90 Day Fiance – Jenn Potthast Is Disparaging Of Andrei Castravet’s Home Country

In a sneak peek of an upcoming episode, called “Public Displays of Contention”, Jenn adds to the already escalating tensions between Andrei and the Potthast family by making disparaging remarks about Moldova that Andrei calls “cheap shots”.

Viewers will recall Chuck and Charlie’s interrogation of Andrei, his friends, and his family, which embarrassed and angered Andrei, because they found his story about quitting the Chisinau police force, where he had worked as a detective, to move to Ireland to take a position as a bouncer at a club suspicious. Jenn, Chuck, and Charlie all agreed that there was something rotten in Denmark – or should we say rotten in Moldova with Andrei’s story.

All he would admit to is that he had gotten in some “trouble” but did not say of what sort. The Potthast’s assume it was of the criminal sort! Charlie and Andrei nearly came to blows in a restaurant over Andrei’s refusal to reveal what kind of trouble he had been, and both Andrei and his brother Radu had chalked up the anger to having had too much to drink! Now, the rest of Elizabeth’s family – or at least the ones who could come – are at the airport, and Elizabeth and Andrei pick them up.

TLC 90 Day Fiance – Andrei Castravet Promises To Be Nice

Considering the fistfight that almost happened with Charlie, Andrei promises Elizabeth he will be nice going forward. However, he does have a plan b just in case – if anything starts getting ugly, he’s just going to leave the situation and “exit stage left”. Elizabeth tells Pamela, Walter, and Jenn that she and Andrei will drive them to their hotel, which is the same one that Chuck and Charlie are staying at.

Andrei jokes to Jenn that she should have a drink, and tells her she is not going to be depressed. Jenn makes a snide remark that she couldn’t drink enough to deal with the current weather. Jenn tells TLC producers in a confessional that her first impression of Moldova is what she figured it would be – dark, gloomy, and sad looking.

Then they all leave in the car, and as Andrei is driving, Jenn is disgusted that it’s only 4:00 pm and already getting dark – she asks how anyone can avoid being depressed there! Andrei tells her it’s November (and even in Florida it gets dark around 4:00 pm in November, by the way). Elizabeth asks Jenn to tell them what she really thinks – and she does!

She tells Elizabeth no wonder she wanted to get away from there, meaning Moldova! Andrei asks her to tell him why he bothered to pick her up at the airport! To the producers, Andrei says that Jenn is trying to push his buttons like she always does, and throwing cheap shots at him! He says he’s not falling for it this time – because he promised he would not lose his temper. Something tells viewers that is not going to be easy!
