Royal Family News: Privacy Seeking Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Ridiculed For New Spotify Deal

Prince Harry And MeghanBritish royal family news reveals that not everyone is as pleased with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex as they are. Hot on the heels of their rapid-fire announcements of two high profile business deals, plenty of royal watchers are calling foul on the way they talk out of both sides of their collective mouth.

Specifically the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex (as they demand they be called) have been called out and rightly so after they promised the public they planned to get out of our consciousness and, “get out of the spotlight,” after drop kicking the Royal Family in a scandalously rude PR stunt.

The Markle’s Have Made A New Announcement About Their Gilded Lives But Many Want Them To Just Go Away As They Promised

Their latest PR stunt has earned a similar amount of ridicule if only for the fact that their sense of self-importance is so hilariously inflated they seem to see nothing else. On top of their Netflix deal, this week they announced they have a podcast deal and apparently the world is better for it, according to their gospel.

But Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new Spotify podcast has merely stoked the flames of ridicule because of the Markle’s incessant need to foist themselves on the public.

Jeremy Vine on 5’s guests Salma El-Wardany and Nana Akua had plenty to say about the multi-year deal with Spotify. El-Wardany tried to defend the royal couple when they were slammed for being “unrelatable” but Akua insisted, “A lot of people have already criticized them, saying ‘well, I thought you wanted to be out of the spotlight’.

She said, “We don’t know how much money they’re going to be getting for this but somebody who did something similar got something like $75million. People have commented on their little trailer and have said it’s just unrelatable, and I think they are.”

She added: “I think they’ve lost the plot, and now are trying to find someplace that they belong, even though they said they wanted to be out of the spotlight. It makes no sense at all, and I don’t think I’ll be listening to it at all, maybe just for a laugh.”

She then highlighted exactly the point that Harry and Meghan miss, “We thought you said you wanted to be out of the spotlight, this is right in the spotlight.” It’s hard to take anything they say seriously, so maybe their brilliant new podcast is a comedy?
