General Hospital spoilers tease that in spite of everything viewers have seen on GH the last few days, there is a slight possibility that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) may not really be dead – after all, how many times has General Hospital brought back presumably dead characters?

Even though Réal Andrews tweeted his own Taggert obituary with thanks to his fans and General Hospital, he has retweeted many tweets proclaiming over and over, “No! Taggert can’t be dead, we just got him back” from fans. Even Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) tweeted “You da man @realandrews a pleasure to have you back! Too short…anyone can come back from the dead right??” Steve ought to know – he was “dead” for five years! GH Spoilers – There Are Several Things General Hospital Writers Could Do To Bring Marcus Taggert Back From The Dead

There are several things that General Hospital writers could do or, might be doing, to bring Marcus back from the dead. One storyline a few years back had Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) devastated over her father, Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) death – but it turned out he wasn’t really dead at all – just in Witness Protection for a short stint!

But it had to seem real and Molly being in on the ruse could have endangered her life, as well as Ric, having been a target! Sound familiar? Julian Jerome, (William DeVry) on the other hand, was dead for over twenty years before he came back as Derek Wells, media mogul and he too, had been in Witness Protection!

Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) came back from the dead several times and even Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) have come back from the dead! They even brought back someone who had been burned up in an explosion, and with no scars at all – although he is now missing one hand that’s his fault – Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).

Think about it – Marcus was stabilized and ready to go into surgery – and then in the time that it took his daughter Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) go down the hall and get him a box of malted milk balls, he dies, and Dr. Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) says a blood clot killed him?

General Hospital Spoilers – Fan Outcry Brought Back Several Well-Loved Characters And GH Actors

Fan outcry brought back several well-loved characters and actors to the GH canvas – Michael Easton in recent history, although he came back as a new character and Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Baldwin) for another. Réal certainly seems to have a lot of fan support wanting Taggert back! For now, the storyline seems to indicate that Taggert could be dead, but for the purposes of this storyline, a stint in Witness Protection may be the most reasonable way to bring him back! There is a possibility that Réal is exiting the show for a short time, but may reappear when Cyrus is taken down for good!
