Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, January 29: Kerry Reveals Her Secret to Jack – Summer’s Huge Announcement – Kyle Gets a Shock

“Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, January 29, tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will get a big offer. At the ranch, Victoria brings Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) by to play with her imaginary friend again. Meanwhile, Victoria chats with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and learns he wants her to take over CEO duties during his house arrest. He convinces her by promising to help with the kids when she has to travel.

At Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is surprised to see Summer Newman (Hunter King). She explains she wanted to apologize for chasing after him and being so pushy. Summer praises the changes in herself and wants to catch up over dinner, but Kyle feels like that’d be inappropriate. His ex insists she understands and gives Kyle a hug before she exits.

At the cottage, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) blasts Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) for lying to him. He wants to know why she did it, so she admits it was hard. Sharon almost confessed the night of her bachelorette party, which was the same night Nick almost confessed about sleeping with Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni).

Nick thinks back to just after his impersonation plot. He feels like the outcome with Sharon would’ve been different if he’d just told him why she was so upset. Sharon doesn’t really think so. She argues that Nick would’ve ended up back with Phyllis one way or another. Sharon doesn’t have any regrets about walking away, but she wonders if Phyllis is regret for Nick.

Later, Nick returns home to Phyllis for some canoodling. He gets why she did what she did, so he’s grateful that she pitched in. Nick admits he would’ve helped with the cover-up if he was in that situation. Over with Summer, she pays Victor a visit. He wants her to stick around and help Victoria at Newman, so she decides she’s in.

Soon after, Summer shocks her parents by showing up and making a huge announcement. She intends to move in with Phyllis and Nick! Back with Victor and Victoria, they check on Katie upstairs at the ranch. She continues talking to someone and suggesting that she won’t tell anyone.

At Mia Rosales’ (Noemi Gonzalez) place, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) pops in and thinks they should clear the air. She insists she’s sorry about Arturo Rosales’ (Jason Canela) proposal at the vow renewal. Abby had no idea he would try to steal the spotlight. Mia downplays her agitation, but she does admit her behavior at the engagement party could’ve been better.

After they finish their obviously phony attempt to make nice, Mia suggests she could do Abby’s hair and makeup for the wedding. Abby points out that she already has a stylist, but Mia thinks she deserves a little taste. She sits Abby in front of the mirror and notices her hair could use a trim. Mia has a twisted fantasy about hacking off Abby’s long locks and stares at the scissors after Abby leaves.

At the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) wants the truth from Kerry Johnson (Alice Hunter). He confronts her about the syringe and wonders if she’s got health issues. Kerry promises that’s not the case, but she doesn’t want to say anything more. Jack keeps pushing anyway. He ponders the idea that Kerry could be on Methadone, but she assures him it’s not that either.

Kerry ultimately confesses she’s been giving herself hormone injections. She intends to freeze her eggs – just to keep the option open. Kerry thinks it’s too soon to discuss any of this with Jack, but he feels this must be important to her. He argues that their goals don’t line up, so Kerry may be with the wrong guy.
