“Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, January 11, tease that Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) will cause quite a scene at J.T. Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) memorial service. At Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) place, Phyllis shuts down Victoria and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) attempts to stop her. She maintains that the truth about J.T. needs to come out.
Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu) wants to hear it until Phyllis actually drops the abuse bomb. He doesn’t believe J.T. would hurt Victoria like that, but his mom confirms it’s true. Victoria wishes Reed hadn’t found out like this. He ends up destroying J.T.’s portrait before stomping off.
Victoria speaks to the guests and suggests that there’s no point in silencing herself now. Mackenzie “Mac” Browning (Kelly Kruger) supports Victoria as they agree to bury the bad and move on. Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) lets Victoria know he’s sorry for what she went through. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) scolds Phyllis before grilling Victoria. He doesn’t get why Victoria told Phyllis and not him.

Victoria notes that it’s a long story and shifts gears to how much she appreciates Billy. She’s glad to have him in her life. Reed also reconvenes with his mother and learns J.T. grabbed her by the throat. He hugs Victoria and expresses how sorry he is. Over with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he takes Nikki home and hears her scream. Nikki’s upset over the fireplace poker being out in front of the hearth.
Before Nick can touch it, Nikki warns him not to. She reveals it’s a murder weapon, which leaves Nick puzzled. Nikki comes clean to Nick about killing J.T., so this storyline is about to get even more interesting. On the road, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is in the car with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). They’re coming home from a police mission when black ice skids them off course.

Unfortunately, Rey can’t get the car started again. They decide to stay in a nearby motel for the night, but there’s only one room with one bed. Rey gives the bed to Sharon while he takes the chair. He makes sure to turn away while she’s undressing. They also call their loved ones to let them know at least part of the story.
At Rey’s apartment, Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) stays warm under the comforter with Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela). During their close moment, Mia wishes she could have two husbands. Rey phones soon after and reveals his car trouble. He doesn’t mention that Sharon’s with him at the motel.
Later, Arturo calls Sharon’s house to get in touch with her about the fixed furnace. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) picks up and mentions Sharon’s stuck somewhere overnight with car issues. Mia finds out and determines that Sharon is with Rey. She starts crying about being Rey’s obligation. Mia doesn’t think Rey wanted to save his marriage deep down, so she gets comfort from Arturo.

After Arturo gives Mia a pep talk about how great she is, they lean in and nearly lock lips. Arturo backs out at the last second and insists that this can’t happen. Back at the motel, Rey struggles to get comfy enough to sleep. Sharon thinks Rey should just skip the chair and get in bed with her.
Rey goes along with the idea, but they keep things innocent. Rey and Sharon have their backs to each other as they wish for sweet dreams. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say temptation will keep lurking around every corner, so we’ll give you updates as other Y&R news and rumors emerge.
