Young And The Restless Last Week In Review: Phyllis’ Dark Horse Party Bombs – Summer Gets Bombed

Young And The Restless Last Week In Review: Phyllis’ Dark Horse Party Bombs – Summer Gets BombedLast week on The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Summer Newman (Hunter King) enjoyed too much of a good thing with her new paramour Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) at the Genoa City Carnival.

She seemed to be having fun, until they arrived at Y&R’s Crimson Lights. As Theo got up to get them more coffee, an already tipsy Summer took a couple more swigs of whatever alcoholic beverage the two of them had been drinking all night.

When Theo came back to the table, Summer bragged about how important she was to Jabot and she deserved to take a much-needed day off work. Then she got a text from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), telling her Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was pissed that she was a no-show and she should get her butt to the meeting.

Young And The Restless Review – Ana Hamilton Is Ungrateful

Unfortunately for Theo, he then had to listen to the angry, spoiled brat rant about how awful Kyle was and how badly he had treated her. Theo promptly got up and left Summer sitting there by herself.

Speaking of spoiled brats, does anyone else think Ana Hamilton (Loren Lott) is acting like one? She should be thanking her lucky stars her brother gave her a cushy job and a great salary to go along with it.

When she went behind his back and produced Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) viral video against his wishes, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) had every right to be angry and hire someone (that someone being Theo) to manage her. If Ana wasn’t related to Devon, she probably would have been fired.

Newly returned to Y&R’s Genoa City, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) went through her share of drama this week. She reconnected with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and then sparred with her new husband Calvin Boudreau (John Burke), who was not long for the Y&R canvas.

Young And The Restless Review – Calvin Burke Exits The Canvas

Shortly after Calvin shocked Chelsea, by suggesting she give full custody of her son Connor to Adam, he was suspiciously dead on a gurney, being wheeled out of their hotel room.

And finally, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) threw a Dark Horse party at Adam’s condo that was attended by a total of three people. “What exactly did I come to, a wake?” Jack Abbott (Peter Berman) quipped when he arrived.

Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman) were also there and Phyllis was quick to take Michael aside, mentioning she knew it was Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) who had kidnapped her. Lauren was suspicious but didn’t catch their conversation. But she was quick to point out to Phyllis her thoughts on why the party bombed. “Nobody showed up because people are wary of what you and Adam are planning.”

Do you think Ana is being unreasonable about Devon? And do you think Michael will eventually come clean to Lauren about Kevin? Let us know in our comments section.
