The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Phyllis Plays Fixer Again – Victoria Slaps Back

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Phyllis Plays Fixer Again – Victoria Slaps BackPhyllis (Gina Tognoni) appointed herself the fixer last mid-April on ‘The Young and the Restless’. While J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) was still lying on the floor of Vickie’s (Amelia Heinle) bedroom, Tognoni’s character reverted to a brazen form that hadn’t been seen since prior to 2014, when she joined the cast. Now, this week, Phyllis overrides Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and bad mouth’s Victor (Eric Braeden) to the hilt.

Nikki is purely trying to support her grandson, Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) at the touching memorial service this poor soul wants to have for his deceased father. Phyllis, thinking only of herself and sporting the compassion of a rusty nail found somewhere in the vicinity of the unauthorized Chancellor Park burial site, objects, which was rightly seen by the gathered crowd as awkward.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Wants Victor In Jail

Later, Phyllis makes her feelings known to Victoria. She advises Heinle’s overwhelmed character that she wants Victor to stay in jail for a crime he didn’t commit, to which Vickie slaps her face, hard.

‘Red’s’ red mark on her cheek resulted through the increasing pent up pressure that Vickie’s been forced to deal with since J.T. unexpectedly came back into her life and was written way overboard. Yes, Luckinbill’s alter ego, who was previously a decent guy, was devolved to literally below-ground.

Phyllis couldn’t care less that Reed lost his dad and will eventually learn the horrific truth and his grandmother’s accidental implication. She has no compassion for Vickie, who was emotionally brutalized by someone who she (and the viewers) didn’t recognize. Phyllis is thinking as she did when Michelle Stafford once famously fronted this classic character, about no one other than herself. And why?

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Takes A Stand

Nikki is the one who acted in self-defense to protect her daughter. If it wouldn’t been for Phyllis’ manipulation of that frenzied scene, Nikki likely never would have been swayed to keep silent and then bury J.T.

Kudos to Victoria to standing up to Phyllis, who was behaving like the entire world of Genoa City revolves around her. It doesn’t, as Vickie’s face-slap confirmed.
