The Young and The Restless Spoilers: Victoria Is Fed Up With How She’s Being Treated

While she is trying to hold her emotions within, Victoria also shares her concerns that her father Victor may be jumping the gun and risking his health by going to work too soon. Sure, he might have faked his death, but he still has a rare blood disease that isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon.

Amelia Heinle, who plays Victoria on the CBS soap, tells Soaps in Depth in a new interview, “Victoria didn’t expect this to happen so soon. She’s disappointed because she was hitting her stride in the CEO position. She was very surprised to receive this news from someone in the press rather than hearing it from Victor. Victor explains that he intended to tell Victoria himself but someone at Newman leaked it to the press.”

If that weren’t enough, Victoria knows that there is another person factored in this and might also be behind her father’s decision: his prodigal son, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). That’s also one of the reasons why Victoria has to prove herself time and time again that she’s more capable of running Newman Enterprises.
