General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, May 27, 2019 repeat episode begins with everyone gathers at the hospital for the reading of Gail Baldwin’s (Susan Brown) will. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has letters for everyone.

Gail’s Will Inspires A Scavenger Hunt

Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) arrives and asks who didn’t get invited. Alexis says everyone is to go to the location of their blueprint and follow it to gather their envelope. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleston) and Leslie Webber (Denise Alexander) banter before everyone begin the scavenger hunt.

General Hospital Recap – Monica And Leslie Admire Each Other

General Hospital’s Monica and Leslie search the old cafeteria to look for their envelopes. Leslie finds hers, and they discuss coed showers. Leslie says Monica would never have left the locker room back in the day. Monica calls Leslie a Saintly Earth Mother, Leslie calls Monica a slut. Leslie tells Monica that Gail did this on purpose. Monica and Leslie admired each other even when they hated each other. Monica and Leslie admit they liked the drama and ended up with who they were supposed to eventually.

General Hospital Recap – Maxie Thanks Mac For His Support

General Hospital’s Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) and Bobbie Spencer’s (Jackie Zeman) envelopes are in the same location. Felicia says she still misses Tony Jones (ex-Brad Maule). Bobbie and Felicia discuss B.J. Jones’ (ex-Brighton Hertford) death and how she saved Maxie’s Jones West’s (Kirsten Storms) life. Maxie and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) are where the vending machines used to be. Maxie thanks Mac for being such a great dad and helping her after her transplant with scar removal. Felicia joins them and wants snacks. Mac didn’t set out to be a suburban dad but grew to love it.

General Hospital Recap – Scott Realizes His Parents Feelings

General Hospital’s Scott and Laura Webber (Genie Frances) meet, Laura smiles as she did at seventeen. Laura and Scott discuss how they wouldn’t have met if Gail hadn’t brought him there. Scott doesn’t know how to go on without his parents. Laura and Scott hug. Franco Baldwin apologizes to Scott for not being honest about his deal with Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry).

Scott tells Franco how he reminds him of himself. Scott tells Franco about his grandparents. Scott says because of Franco, he knows what his parents went through and how much they loved him. Bobbie later joins Scott, and they discuss the past. Scott is happy he and Bobbie are still friends and grateful for what they had. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) joins Scott and talks about their daughter. Scott says they should have stayed together.

Julian Thinks Gail Is Sending Alexis A Message

General Hospital’s Julian Jerome (William DeVry) approaches Alexis and doesn’t understand why he is there. Alexis thinks Gail included Julian because of her. Julian tells Alexis maybe Gail knew her better than she knows herself. Julian finds his envelope and leaves.

General Hospital Recap – Lucy Realizes Kevin Belongs With Laura

General Hospital’s Lucy is in the Nurse’s Ball wardrobe room, and Monica joins her. Lucy wants to sell the outfits and donate the money to the ball. Lucy finds one of Alan Quartermaine’s (ex-Stuart Damon) handkerchiefs and gives it to Monica. Lucy joins Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) in his search for his envelope.

Kevin tells Lucy he loves Laura but is glad for what they shared in the past. Lucy and Kevin’s search leads to the chapel and Laura. Lucy leaves telling Kevin this is where you are supposed to be. Kevin asks how Laura is and is sorry he ruined this for them. Laura and Kevin talk about the proposal and Paris. Laura and Kevin will never forget their time together, no matter what happens. Leslie joins them and wants to speak to Laura. Laura talks about loving how proud she was as a candy striper that her mom was a doctor. Leslie is proud of Laura as well.

General Hospital Recap – Sonny Is A Good Guy

General Hospital’s Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Laura meet in the hospital chapel. Laura asks if Sonny remembers the first time they met. Laura says Sonny is a good guy in a bad guys suit. Sonny thinks Laura for everything she does for mental health issues. Laura tells Sonny his struggle gave her the strength to do that. Laura says mental health issues are handled in the hospital every day. Sonny says, thank God for General Hospital.

General Hospital’s Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is looking for her envelope and Bobbie helps her. Liz tells Bobbie how both her grandmother and Bobbie were why she became a nurse. Liz says Bobbie’s help after her rape was a huge part of her decision to be a nurse. Bobbie thanks Liz and finds her envelope. Liz and Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) meet in the elevator. Liz says Epiphany taught her how to be a nurse. Epiphany couldn’t ask for a better friend or coworker.

General Hospital’s Sonny, Carly, and Bobbie meet at the nursery. Carly tells Bobbie about her pregnancy. Bobbie is concerned, but Carly assures her she is careful. Bobbie and Carly talk about B.J. and Morgan Corinthos (ex-Bryan Craig) and how they wouldn’t have missed having those kids even though their time with them was cut short.

Everyone gathers back at the nurse’s station to open their envelopes, which contain confetti. Gail’s letter says she wanted to bring everyone back to the hospital they shared. Scott uncovers Gail’s photo on the entrance wall as scenes from the past 56 years roll. Highlighted scenes include Liz’s rape, Sonny injured from a shootout, and Nurse’s Ball scenes, to name a few.
