The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, May 28: Dina Goes Missing – Nick’s Got a Job for Rey – Tessa’s Good Deed is Rewarded

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, May 28, tease that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will return to town. At the Abbott mansion, Ash talks to Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) about putting Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) in a memory care facility. Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) join the discussion soon enough.

The gang frets about telling Dina, but she walks in and insists she already knows. Dina feels like her family wants rid of her and begs Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) for help when he walks in. He’s confused as Dina argues that she doesn’t want to go.

After Dina scampers out again, Kyle gets the scoop and doesn’t like this. Jack agrees none of them want Dina to make the move, but they have to go through with it. The Abbotts approach the den to lure Dina out, but Kyle ultimately realizes she’s given them the slip. Dina vanished and left her tracker bracelet behind.

In the park, Ashley and Jack find Dina smiling as she listens to Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) perform. After Tessa’s finished singing and playing her guitar, she greets Dina and hears about the new facility. Tessa suggests she could visit to play for Dina and the friends she makes there. Dina slowly warms to the idea of moving, so Jack lets Tessa know what she did meant a lot.

At Crimson Lights, Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) meets with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). Cane promises to attend Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) will reading since he’s listed and wants to be there for Lily Ashby’s (Christel Khalil) sake. He also signs the divorce papers during this meeting.

Back at the Abbott house, Cane stops by to see Traci. He learns about the Dina drama and consoles her before she hears the good news. Once Traci knows Dina’s fine, she continues to lean on Cane and he leans on her, too. They hug each other after their deep, meaningful conversation.

Dina makes it home to pack up her stuff, but she’s still nervous. She fears the other facility members won’t like her, but Jack offers reassurance. As Dina leaves, Traci notes that it may be the last time her mom goes out that door. Ashley pulls Traci close as they deal with this significant change.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tessa’s New Gig

At Society, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is grateful for Tessa’s help earlier. Tessa’s hoping to pick up more shifts since her deal with Ana Hamilton (Loren Lott) fell through. When Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) arrives, she suggests maybe Tessa could perform at Society. Abby decides that’s a great plan and gives Tessa the gig as a gesture of gratitude.

Over with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), she drops by Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) place and learns Rey moved in. Mariah shows her support before heading off to lunch with Sharon. Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) brings Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) up to speed on Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) demands. Nikki is taken aback by how far Adam was willing to go.

After Nikki worries Adam might kidnap Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen), Nick talks about the war Adam’s declared. He notes that it could definitely get ugly. Back at Society, Mariah gets updates on Adam from Sharon. Once Nick arrives, he badmouths Adam to Sharon and gets a private warning from his mother. Nikki feels like Nick should be careful about what he says to caring Adam’s former flame.

Sharon pops over to Nikki and Nick’s table briefly, which leads to the revelation that Rey moved in. Nick gets an idea and heads over to the cottage. He wants to make Rey the head of security at Dark Horse and adds that there’ll be other personal matters to deal with. Rey gets the picture and realizes Nick’s talking about Adam.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Neil’s Will Reading

At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, Sharon arrives for the will reading. She corners Michael to ask about why she was invited, but Michael insists she’ll have to wait and see. As more people file in, Michael decides it’s time to go upstairs and summon Devon.
