Britt’s Stunning News

It looks like once again, Britt has gone to the Quartermaine gatehouse to share some stunning news with her cousin Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

Britt is excited, while Willow looks a little upset for some reason, as Britt tells her she knows why she did it—for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Both Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) have returned home after getting a quickie divorce in the Dominican Republic.

Britt seems to imply that Willow moved into the Quartermaine gatehouse with her and Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) children not for the children, but for Chase!

Will Britt also share with Willow her own exciting news from the Brown Dog Bar, or did telling Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) get it out of her system?

ABC

Chase And Dante Argue

In the meantime, Chase and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) seem to be in an argument, as Chase asks Dante if he would punish Willow on Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) word.

Dante looks upset, as it seems that Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) viral exposé is what they’re discussing.

Willow has a libel suit against Lulu, who refuses to retract her article, and Dante will defend his ex-wife.

Chase pushed Willow to sue Lulu and facilitated Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard) taking her case as well.

Chase blindly believes everything Willow says and firmly believes she can do no wrong. Boy, is he in for a big burst bubble!

ABC

Brook Lynn Updates Tracy

In the meantime, Brook Lynn is at the Quartermaine mansion, where she updates Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) on the happenings of the last couple of days.

She tells her grandmother to do what she should have done the whole time, possibly in response to Tracy dropping a bombshell!

Very soon, the Quartermaines will be rocked by something, and Tracy will prepare for battle. It sounds like it’s going to be a very serious situation.

For all their dysfunction, the Quartermaines close ranks when they have a common enemy or a problematic situation to take care of.

And it sounds like this one is going to be a doozy!

ABC

Ava Lawyers Up

In the meantime, Ava has gone to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) after calling and reminding her that she owes her a favor. This was after being questioned by Acting WSB Station Chief William Baines (Alimi Ballard) at GH.

As the investigation into Ava and Jack Brennan’s disappearance intensifies, Ava knows she needs to protect herself.

It looked like she was looking for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to warn him at the Port Charles Grill, but seeing him busy with Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski), she made a call instead.

Ava has obviously gotten in over her head with her collaboration with Drew to handle Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Ava tells Alexis, “How about we just skip to the part where you do what I want?”

Perhaps she wants Alexis to help her turn the tables on Drew?

ABC

Serena’s Good News

It would seem not all is amiss at the Quartermaine mansion, as Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) tells Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that he’s about to be a very happy man!

Just a few days back, he’d caught her trying to scam him for her mother, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), into signing over Michael Corinthos’ voting proxy for Deception Cosmetics.

Perhaps she—or Lucy—has come up with a better idea.

Jason, of course, just looks at her with a serious expression, although he does seem to be all ears.

Maybe they’ve given up and waved the white flag?

ABC

Nina’s Playing Let’s Make A Deal

In the meantime, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) seems to be playing Let’s Make a Deal with Baines in the interrogation and holding room apparently attached to the WSB field office.

Baines certainly wouldn’t have had time to appear in Steinmauer five minutes after leaving General Hospital, where he was “harassing” Ava!

Nina is disheveled and tired as she demands of Baines, “Tell me what I have to do to prove it to you!”

This was after Baines told her that they may have rushed to judgment where her guilt in Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) disappearance was concerned!

With dangerous secrets and desperate pleas for help dominating Port Charles this week, Nina could find herself facing a difficult choice.

ABC

Carly Shares Her Suspicions

In the meantime, Carly is with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in her office at the Metro Court and shares her suspicions. Valentin sounds like he’s telling her they have to move fast!

Carly looks dismayed. They had agreed to help Lulu with her libel case, and Valentin didn’t want to divulge that he knew the WSB had a paralytic that would act like a stroke and cause apparent locked-in syndrome.

He almost became a victim of it himself, realizing that was what was in the syringe Nina tried to stab him with at Drew’s house, and Jack was accidentally stabbed instead.

As Lulu’s controversial article continues to create problems across Port Charles, Carly and Valentin may have to act quickly to uncover the truth.

So whatever Carly is suspicious about, she seems to be upset about it. But she seems even more upset by what Valentin tells her!

Editors Take

I can’t believe Chase is still defending Willow so blindly! At this point, I think Dante has a much better handle on what’s really going on, and I’m glad he’s standing up for Lulu.

As for Ava, I have to wonder how long she thinks she can keep herself out of trouble when she’s mixed up with Drew.

And Nina trying to bargain her way out of WSB custody? That could get very messy! But I’m especially curious about what Valentin has to tell Carly.

Whatever it is, I have a feeling we’re getting closer to some big answers about Brennan’s disappearance!
