General Hospital News: Tamara Braun’s Exciting Primetime Gig

General Hospital News: Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun)Tamara Braun, who stars in General Hospital as Dr. Kim Nero, appeared as a guest on Tuesday’s episode of The Rookie. The actress alerted her fans about her guest appearance on the ABC show by posting on Instagram.

On her post, she added that she had a great time working with the show’s star and General Hospital alum Nathan Fillion, who plays John Nolan. This is not the first time that Braun has worked with Fillion. They worked together back in 2012 on an episode of Castle.

The Rookie is currently in its first season and the story centers on Nolan, who decides to become a police officer after going through an experience that changed his life forever. He raised a lot of eyebrows when he joined LAPD. Being the oldest rookie in the station, he drew a lot of doubts and criticisms not only on his abilities to become a police officer but also his commitment to the job.

But he strives to prove his doubters wrong while catching the bad guys and keeping up with his younger colleagues. The Rookie also stars Eric Winters, Alyssa Diaz, and Mercedes Mason, who are alums of Days of Our Lives, As The World Turns, and One Life To Live.

Here is the published synopsis: “When a prison bus crashes, all units must respond as some inmates face severe injuries while others seek an opportunity to flee. In the wake of the accident, Officer Nolan tries to impress an FBI hostage negotiator while tracking down an escaped convict.”

Braun also guest starred in NBC’s Supernatural and Amazon Prime’s Bosch. She was also cast on TV movies like Her Dark Past and Stalked By My Ex. She has also appeared on the daytime soaps All My Children and Days of Our Lives.
