‘General Hospital’ Hot New Promo: Saying Goodbye Is Never Easy, Family Prays For A Miracle – Oscar’s Final Days

General Hospital spoilers tease that Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Lake Stitt) will more than likely pass away this week on General Hospital. A new promo video, “Saying Goodbye Is Never Easy” was just released, and it’s going to be a sad week for General Hospital fans indeed, as well as Oscar’s family and friends.

He appears to have set up a farewell party for himself and his family and friends at Charlie’s Pub, where Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Maurice Benard, Laura Wright), Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) can be seen.

Outside the Quartermaine mansion, Drew Cain (Billy Miller) talks to Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Drew tells Franco that his son is dying. Franco offers his support and sympathy as he tells him how sorry he is.

General Hospital Spoilers – Facing The Unthinkable

Next, viewers will see Drew and Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) sitting on a staircase that looks like the Quartermaine mansion staircase, talking about Oscar. The wording “Facing The Unthinkable” comes up on the video with a headshot of Oscar. His eyes are closed, and motionless with a hand, probably Kim’s stroking the hair on the side of his head. There is no response.

The scene goes back to Drew and Kim on the staircase, with Kim talking about Oscar, telling him, “He’s fighting this with everything he’s got”. Next, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) hugs a weeping Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) in the library of the Quartermaine mansion.

Then the scene changes and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) is shown collapsing into a corner, also weeping. The wording comes up, “It’s torture seeing your kid in so much pain”. Photographs then are shown of Cameron and Oscar together and Josslyn and Oscar together, in better days.

General Hospital Spoilers – Josslyn Jacks Shown Weeping

Joss is shown weeping, looking through a photo album. Then the wording “A family prays for a miracle” is shown as Drew looks upwards, obviously praying for a miracle for Oscar. The final scene shows Oscar in bed with Drew, Kim, and Josslyn surrounding him. This appears to be in Oscar’s room in the Quartermaine mansion.

It’s obvious Oscar has weakened and deteriorated considerably, and it’s near the end as Josslyn weeps and asks him, “If you can hear me, I love you”. Oscar, obviously very weak, opens his eyes briefly.
