Days of Our Lives Recap Tuesday, January 15: Eric Attacks Xander – Abe and Melinda Disagree

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Tuesday, January 15, 2019, reveals John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) are having breakfast. John has tickets for a performance that Marlena wants to see.

DOOL Spoilers John Agrees To Help Will

Marlena asks what the occasion is; John informs her it’s for her and their extended honeymoon. John and Marlena talk about Xander, Paul (ex-Christopher Sean) calls and interrupts them. Marlena steals John’s bacon, and Will (Chandler Massey) walks in. Marlena tells Will she talked to Sami (Alison Sweeney) last night. Marlena and Will talk about E.J.’s (ex-James Scott) lack of improvement. Will tells Marlena about Leo’s (Greg Rikaart) mom, and she suggests he ask for John’s help.

Marlena tells John that Will didn’t ask for his help because of him and Paul. John tells Will he was upset, but he realizes what he was trying to do. John tells Will that he is family too and he will help any way he can. John doesn’t remember finding anything on Leo’s mom when he researched him. Will has tried all his resources at the paper.

Will gets a text from Sonny (Freddie Smith) saying they can’t meet. John tells Will how he and Marlena were apart a lot through the years, but faith kept them together. John uses Leo’s aliases to track down his mom. John tells Will to use him and Marlena as an example. John says if he and Marlena can battle the devil and come out on top, he can certainly handle Leo. Will tells Sonny that John is tracking down Leo’s mom.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers Xander Needs Time To Think

Days of Our Lives’ Xander (Paul Telfer) wakes to find Leo in bed with him. Xander wants to seal the deal on Titan. Leo tells Xander he seems like he would try anything once if it accomplished his goals. Xander says he needs time to think about it. Leo comes downstairs as Sonny starts to leave and demands to know where he is going. Sonny is going to the hospital to talks to administrators.

Sonny tries to keep Leo from joining him, but he goes anyway. Leo refuses to leave Sonny’s side after he sees that Seth didn’t expect Sonny for an appointment. Adrienne (Judy Evans) text Sonny Leo puts down his choice in clothing. Sonny asks about Leo’s mom; he demands to know why Sonny is asking. Leo texts Xander again wanting an answer.

DOOL Spoilers Xander Meets Sarah

Days of Our Lives’ Sonny is on the phone with Will. Will wants to meet later if Sonny can get away. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) comes in, and Sonny is glad to see her. Sarah tells Sonny that Rex (Kyle Lowder) moved back to try and win her back. Sonny asks if Sarah thought about giving Rex a second chance. Sarah tells Sonny about Rex’s plan.

Sarah tells Sonny there is a baby involved now. Xander walks in and steals a muffin off Sarah’s plate. Xander asks who Sarah is; Sonny introduces them. Sarah calls Xander the jerk that blackmailed Nicole. Xander continues to make comments, and Sarah calls him obnoxious. Xander was hoping they could be friends. Sarah asks if Xander shouldn’t be in jail after shooting Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) mom. Xander wants Sarah to join him in the hot tub, she declines.

Days Of Our Lives Eric Is Reluctant To Help Rex

Days of Our Lives’ Eric is thinking about his conversation with Sarah last night when Rex walks in and interrupts his train of thought. Eric tells Rex that he was thinking about Sarah and how off guard she was. Rex wants Eric to help him win Sarah back. Rex can see Eric and Sarah are friends. Eric asks how he’s supposed to help Rex win Sarah back.

Eric tells Rex how Sarah helped him get through some rough times. Rex wants Eric to find out how Sarah feels about him. Eric tells Rex that Sarah never calls him by his name even. Rex says he didn’t fight hard enough to get Sarah to forgive him; he wants Sarah back. Rex tells Eric he doesn’t love Mimi (Farah Fath), he loves Sarah. Sarah goes to Eric and tells him Xander is alive and in Salem. Rex comes out of the shower and thinks Sarah is there to see him. Eric goes to the mansion and grabs Xander threatening to kill him.

DOOL Haley Has An Appointment With Marlena

Days of Our Lives’ Haley (Thia Megia) wakes up to J.J. (Casey Moss) cooking breakfast. Haley thanks J.J. for letting her stay there, he wants answers for repayment. Melinda (Laura Kai Chen) calls Haley to see where she is and leaves a voice mail. Abe (James Reynolds) walks in and jumps Melinda for threatening Abby (Kate Mansi). J.J. figures out that Melinda is Haley’s sister and asks what that fought about last night that she had to leave. J.J. asks if Melinda doesn’t want people to know about her because she’s the D.A. J.J. jokingly asks if Haley is a master criminal.

Haley jokingly tells J.J. she’s a mob boss. Haley tells J.J. he should be a cop, J.J. says he used to be one. J.J. tells Haley he gave up being a cop after shooting Theo (Kyler Pettis). Haley gets ready for her appointment with Marlena. Haley goes to her appointment. Marlena wants to know why Haley tried to kill herself. Haley tries to convince Marlena that she had dealt with her issue. Marlena tells Haley it is not that easy. Marlena sees how troubled Haley is and she wants to help her through this.

Haley tells Marlena no one can help her. Marlena tells Haley sometimes saying things out loud takes away their power. Haley is afraid she will make matters worse. Marlena tells Haley she cares about her. Marlena encourages Haley to talk to her. Haley tells Marlena she has kept this secret her entire life. Haley agrees to tell Marlena everything.

Abe Threatens To Fire Melinda

Days of Our Lives’ Abe and Melinda continue to argue over Abby and Chad (Billy Flynn). Abe tells Melinda her last conviction was of an innocent person. Melinda blames Abe and the police force. Melinda tells Abe the department is always having to run down people. Melinda is upset with Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) way of handling things.

Abe says Hope is trying to protect the citizens from Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), a serial killer. Melinda points out that Ben has been deemed sane and is a citizen of Salem now. J.J. calls and wants to meet with Melinda she refuses to talk to him. Abe threatens to fire Melinda if she doesn’t become a team player.
