Alison Sweeney, who portrays Sami Brady, Bryan Dattilo as Lucas Horton, and Christie Clark, who plays Carrie Brady, are set to return to the sudser.

Sweeney was last seen portraying her alter ego on November 2018. She also took on the role of Colleen Brady and Adrienne Johnson on the soap. Apart from her acting talent, Sweeney is a director, an author, and the host of the reality TV show, “The Biggest Loser.”

She appeared in various series like “Friends,” “Las Vegas,” and in TV films like “Second Chances,” “Murder,” and “She Baked: Just Desserts.”

Meanwhile, Dattilo was last seen on “Days of Our Lives as Lucas in December 2018 before his alter ego returned to Italy. Dattilo has been with days for 25 years. He originated his role in 1993.

In a previous interview, he teased that his return to revolves around an unhealthy relative. This is assumed to be Will Horton, who was recently diagnosed with brain tumor. Clark is also returning as Carrie to Salem. She and her sister, Sami, will be back in town for a special someone. They will both be a part of an upcoming tribute episode for Peggy McCay’s character, Caroline Brady.

Clark has been portraying Carrie on and off since 1986. It was revealed last year that she will be returning to “Days of Our Lives” this year since the soap tapes their episodes way in advance.

Viewers and cast members of the soap were saddened by the news about Peggy McCay’s passing. She has been with the show from 1983 to 2017. She’ has been seen on screen for almost two years. Although her on-screen son Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) often made references to her.

McCay earned five Daytime Emmy nominations for her excellent portrayal of Caroline. She won an Emmy award in 1991 for her work on “The Trials of Rosie O’Neil.” Her other TV credits include “Gunsmoke” and “Lou Grant.”
