Coronation Street Spoilers: Tyrone Panics As Evelyn Goes Missing

Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) was infuriated by the discovery that Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) abandoned him when he was a baby. After the shocking revelation, Tyrone didn’t bat an eye when he decided to cut ties with her. But he might just regret what he did when he finds out that Evelyn has gone missing in Paris.

Evelyn Plummer made her first appearance on the cobbles last year when Tyrone decided to track down his family. She wasn’t easy to deal with but Tyrone looked past all that just so she could connect with his grandmother.

Viewers may recall that Evelyn was forced to tell the truth that it was her and not Tyrone’s mother Cassandra who left him in front of the police station when he was a baby. The huge bombshell was dropped after James unintentionally said something about Evelyn, forcing her to spill the bitter truth.

Coronation Street – Is It Too Late For Tyrone To Make Amends?

After Tyrone threatened to turn his back on his grandmother, Evelyn decided to go abroad with James. Meanwhile, Tyrone’s been thinking more clearly now that his anger has passed. He thinks he can still make amends with his grandmother. But will it be too late? Evelyn has gone to Paris but something else will shake Tyrone up.

He will discover that his grandmother has gone missing. Much to Tyrone’s surprise, he will see James and Cerberus return to the cobbles – without Evelyn. James explains that they got separated from Evelyn during the trip and assumed that she had gone home to Weatherfield. With both men having no clue where Evelyn is, they start to worry about her welfare.

Before the confrontation, Tyrone has been concerned about his grandmother’s forgetful behavior. Now, he’s desperate to know if she’s ok and has started to call hospitals. He consults with police officer Craig Tinker, who promises to do his best to help him find Evelyn.
