Coronation Street Spoilers: Gemma Won’t Be Leaving The Cobbles

Coronation Street Spoilers: Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) - Gemma Winters (Dolly-Rose Campbell) Fans of “Coronation Street” rejoice. Gemma Winters (Dolly-Rose Campbell) isn’t going anywhere after this week’s episode.

“Coronation Street” viewers have been worried about the future of pregnant Gemma as the show hinted the possibility of her exit when she seriously considered moving in with her mom following her breakup with Chesney Brown (Sam Aston). Gemma found out that she was pregnant after Chesney ended their relationship.

The couple has been at odds for several weeks. They decided to go on a “make or break” caravan holiday. But things didn’t work out the way they planned. Gemma winded up getting drunk and passing out in an elderly couple’s caravan.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Accused Couple Of Kidnapping Her

Instead of apologizing to the couple when she came to, she accused them of kidnapping her and stealing Chesney’s caravan. When Chesney found out about what happened, he immediately confronted Gemma over her irresponsible behaviour and ended their relationship.

Gemma then confided in Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox) about her rocky relationship with Chesney. The latter noticed that Gemma was not feeling well. Although she blamed her hangover, Rita asked her to consider that she might be pregnant.

Later on, Gemma is rushed to the hospital by Chesney. However, she tries her best to hide the truth from Chesney and considers living with her mom instead as she goes through her pregnancy. Gemma tells Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) about her plans to leave the cobbles for good. Fortunately, “Coronation Street’s” official website hints that Gemma is not going anywhere and fans will see her on next week’s episode.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Will The Couple Reunite?

In an interview about Gemma’s current storyline, actress Dolly-Rose Campbell says Gemma was surprised about her pregnancy. She was shocked at first but it started to sink in that she’s carrying her first child, she started to become excited to be a mother.

“It’s a mix of emotions – excitement, fear and panic because Chesney has already made her feel she’s not very responsible when it comes to parenting, so that’s knocked her confidence with her own pregnancy and her ability to raise a baby.”

She was also asked about her future with Chesney. Campbell didn’t reveal that much as to whether they will ever get back together. She simply responded, “I’m not sure – them living together has led to quite an unhappy environment, which wouldn’t be the best thing for a baby, so maybe it would be more interesting to see them working together as friends. They’re so different in their ways, so it will be interesting to see how they’ll tackle this.”
