Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thomas Has Gone Too Far – Will He Pay For His Crimes?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) has now sunk to terrorizing his own child. Following the unseemly play off Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) grief, in creating a bond with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), Thomas crawled into the gutter and under his son’s bed by planting an electronic device intended to create a horrific reaction.

Poor Douglas had the stuffing scared out of him when he saw a ghost floating in his room. That happened after Hope was asked to tell this innocent child that she and his dad were engaged and would get married at some point in the future.

Following a script that Thomas has been writing in his own mind, Atkinson’s diabolical character was shown talking to himself. The recent addition of Thomas’ overlayed dialogue, which is meant to allow B&B fans to hear his thoughts, adds an extra layer of suspense for the viewers.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas’ Scheming Has Taken A Dark Turn

Being clued in to what Thomas is thinking is proving to be chilling, as his veiled plans are telegraphed just prior well-executed plans being realized. The result of Douglas’ torment was that Hope voluntarily told Thomas they need to become a family as soon as possible. She did so while comforting Douglas, after he was heard screaming about the aforementioned ghost.

As this is the soap opera world, devotees of the genre will accept certain levels of impossibility. Yes, Thomas’ ghost ploy was a stretch, as was Hope’s instant reaction to go along with what her demented fiance was hoping.

However, the building crescendo of this storyline is serving to take daytime fans on a wild summer thrill ride. It’s not yet possible to predict what type of danger the show’s increasingly deranged villain will force Hope and Douglas into. But clearly Thomas won’t suddenly become normal when he’s not.

Hope is a smart lady. She would seem likely to soon catch Thomas, considering the regular interaction she’ll now have with this nut.

It’s past time for Thomas to be stopped. How fitting it would be for the woman he thinks is his answer to become the person who puts an end to all of the mind games he’s been playing.

Hopefully Hope, Douglas, and any others who have been caught in this mess aren’t harmed any further. Offering compassion, due to his obvious mental health issues, maybe Thomas will even be allowed to achieve redemption in future years. That would come after he faces punishment for his crimes and a sustained period of rehabilitation.
