The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victor Waits For Nick To Fall – Dark Horse Takeover Target

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victor Waits For Nick To Fall – Dark Horse Takeover TargetVictor (Eric Braeden) doesn’t have to sabotage Nick (Joshua Morrow) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Dark Horse will topple, in time, or so the ‘Moustache’ has calculated.

Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) surprise arrest of Nick during a very public launch party obviously complicates DH’s roll-out plans. How deeply Nick is implicated in J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) death will now play out, dramatically.

Of course Victor doesn’t know that his wife and daughter remain in far greater legal peril than Nick. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Vickie (Amelia Heinle) are directly connected to J.T.’s accidental and foolishly unreported demise, along with his subsequent unlawful burial in Chancellor Park.

Both ladies are certainly likely to come to Nick’s rescue if Rey attempts to pin charges on Nick that relate J.T.’s disappearance, or eventually revealed departure. Doing so could mean that Nikki and possibly, Vickie are arrested and potentially, jailed.

Nick’s impersonation of Mr. Hellstrom was aimed at his tormenting his father and proved successful, as resulting business perception allowed Dark Horse to pick off clients who quickly distanced themselves from Newman Enterprises. Nick’s use of J.T.’s credit line has been investigated by Rey in recent weeks. Whether the tie-in to Victor’s health records’ dump will prove part of any discipline Dark Horse’s founder receives will soon be determined.

Victor recently said that he was content to allow Nick to pursue this bold venture. The elder Newman didn’t like that his son acted underhandedly and felt those methods telegraphed his coming undoing.

Nick stared directly at the ‘Black Knight’ as cuffs were being applied in front of the requested, gathered crowd. Devoted viewers recalled Vickie’s wedding day arrest during the Billy Miller (Billy) ‘Villy’ era. But Victor can’t be blamed for what Nick did in this instance.

Nick is guilty, which means that Victor is already watching Dark Horse fall. Unless matters are somehow reversed, this development has arrived far sooner than expected. Might Newman Enterprises take over its aggressive rival before the end of the year, or simply stand witness to its own premature demise?
