The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Scott Now Alone – Two-Timer Faces Consequences

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Scott Now Alone – Two-Timer Faces ConsequencesIt took more than one person to create Scott’s (Daniel Hall) problems on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But Abby (Melissa Ordway) wasn’t involved with someone. Yes, the consequences Scott now faces were created by his own free will actions.

Mr. Grainger arrived in Genoa City with a new face, as Hall became this recast and SORAS’d character. Lauren’s (Tracey Bregman) son, now an early middle-aged man. He cast himself as a journalist, which implied that he strove for objectivity within his profession. Opinion-pushers live elsewhere in the modern mass media, as many news consumers know.

Sharon (Sharon Case) wasn’t looking for a relationship. Dylan (Steve Burton) just left her, in part because of the Scully-is-actually-Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) scenario. However, their break ended amicably. Then, Scott appeared at Crimson Lights, which Sharon assumed ownership of.

‘Shott’ developed naturally and wasn’t rushed. First, they became friends. Then, romance bloomed. Feelings on both sides were genuine. Scott was, initially, a stabilizing influence in Sharon’s life.

Tension, which generally means romantic attraction, began evidencing itself at Newman Enterprises as the months passed. Abby seemed more into Scott then he was into her, if he was into her at all. Victor’s (Eric Braeden) hoped-for competition also served to produce personal outcomes.

Abby’s relationship, if it can be called that with Zack (Ryan Ashton) proved to be disastrous on various levels. The end result of ‘Zabby’ bled into ‘Scabby’. The storage unit event led to public displays of affection, as witnessed by various characters who were connected to Sharon.

All was revealed. Sharon exploded, understandably. But she’s since handled matters well. Longtime fans were grateful that Y&R didn’t write her backwards.

As for Scott, well, Sharon’s likely never coming back. Abby just flew off to Paris, indefinitely. That means he’s alone, having only the consequences of his actions to reconsider.

What happens when Ordway returns from maternity leave. Will her Abby character want to revive ‘Scabby’? Might Victor treat Scott badly at work because of what happened? Those are just two questions to be answered as Scott’s near-term life plays out.
