The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Kyle Is a Cold Snake – Jack Feels Paternity Bite

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Kyle Is a Cold Snake – Jack Feels Paternity BiteKyle (Michael Mealor) is fully self-involved on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Oh yes, he is Diane Jenkins’ (Maura West) son, son, sonny boy. If he were actually a man, Kyle wouldn’t have setup his father’s paternity bite.

Jack (Peter Bergman) wept while watching the documentary-style film Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) painstakingly created. Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) idea, to preserve her and Kyle’s grandmother’s memories via a series of digitally recorded interviews, proved great. But Kyle’s actions at the Newman Ranch this week will turn what should be a memorable family event into an emotional massacre at a movie house in Genoa City.

Victor (Eric Braeden) actually has compassion for Dina (Marla Adams). He’s voiced that feeling to Kyle on more than one occasion. However, the recovering, but still fully ruthless ‘Moustache’ also opted to keep the memory stick Kyle gave him. That piece of tech shows Dina openly stating that Jack isn’t John’s (Jerry Douglas) son.

Yes, the cut clips that exist on the stick Victor possesses will need to make their way into Charlie’s video. They will in a soapy fashion. Then, Jack will be watching, along with the gathered crowd at the movie house he’s rented, for the occasion that was to honor Dina.

Like the taste of muddy coffee at a Crimson Lights knockoff shop, Jack’s face will register revulsion. Kyle might escape blame for the purposeful reveal, at least during that screening. However, the damage Mealor’s character wanted inflicted will arrive far sooner than he expected and therefore change the trajectory of Jack’s life in a way he won’t control.

There is one outstanding issue that could change anticipated matters, however. Victor wisely told Kyle that he needs incontrovertible proof that Jack isn’t an Abbott before proceeding with whatever the take-down plan is, which the audience hasn’t frustratingly not been made aware of to-date. So, what if Jack proves out as John’s sire?

Just because Jack and Traci (Beth Maitland) appear to not be biologically related, as Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) and Abby’s DNA test seemed to prove, doesn’t necessarily compute to Jack not being an Abbott.

John’s DNA needs to be tested against Jack’s. So either the bones of the Abbott patriarch will have to be used, after being exhumed, or John’s ghost will have to provide said sample.
