The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Jack Wants Phyllis Back – Brothers Battle For Her Love

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Jack Wants Phyllis Back – Brothers Battle For Her LoveJack (Peter Bergman) lost Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) a few years ago on ‘The Young and the Restless’. The recast of Jason Thompson (Billy), who assumed the role Burgess Jenkins had been playing, established the realization of the couple that came to fondly be known (among its fans) as ‘Philly’.

But Billy has fallen back to his old gambler habits, as Phyllis recently learned. Some would claim this as an addiction, which is a subjective phrase to employ. Unless all human beings are programmed robots, which they are not, then free will exists.

Based upon one’s balance of emotion and logic, some choose to believe that the Billy’s of the world seemingly have no control over this or any impulse, which is believed to be engrained, rather than learned and embraced. Others, steeped in split of logic and emotion, recognize Billy’s genetic background, coming from Jill (Jess Walton) and John (Jerry Douglas), combined with his unique environment experiences to create the gambler’s mentality. Some predisposition, some choice. That makes better sense.

Regardless of how various people are internally wired, each then has the ability to resist individually inherent urges (like going after Jack’s wife, or gambling). People like Billy also avoid getting the psychological help they need as well, which is a choice. Emotion resists, or denies the claims in this paragraph, while logic affirms them.

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Jack Wants Phyllis Back – Brothers Battle For Her Love

Now, is Jack justified in wanting Phyllis back? Well, she isn’t married to Billy. And living in Summer’s (Hunter King) condo, a pricey splash that now-sassy character never purchased with any earned money, with Thompson’s character isn’t a deep commitment.

It appears as though Jack suppressed his feelings for Phyllis within the past two years. That free will choice is now being reconsidered.

Phyllis is currently seeking Jack’s advice about his brother in a manner that’s similar to how she previously relayed her feelings to Billy about ‘Phack’s’ then crumble. That is a free will choice on her part. Phyllis never hated Jack, she just believed (understandably) that he didn’t defend her honor after the incredible Marco (Peter Bergman in a memorable dual role) horror ended.

Billy’s reckless choices appears to be driving his Jabot decisions. He’s resisted Summer’s suggestions to this point. Jack is aware that his brother has veered off the rails again and appears to believe that creates an opportunity to reclaim his relationship with Phyllis.

The looming battle will soon be presented to fans of ‘Philly’ and ‘Phack’. Each contingent will choose a side as that happens. Yes, free will affirmed again, including among those who prefer neither couple.
