The Young and the Restless Poll: Which Y&R Couples Will Survive?

The Young and the Restless Poll: Which Y&R Couples Will Survive? There are many romantic pairings on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But which among them will survive?

‘Lane’ walked together toward solid ground. Lily (Christel Khalil) deserves total respect for fully opening her heart to Cane (Daniel), who, by his admission, didn’t deserve a second chance.

Cane re-earned Lily’s trust by being honest and readjusting his priorities. He’s proven in recent months that the Juliet (Laur Allen) mistake, along with the DARE sabotage disaster weren’t reflective of his character. Both points, along with Sam’s existence, enabled Lily to willingly agree to Cane’s vow renewal request. But will this couple survive long-term?

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) wants to have a baby. Devon (Bryton James) was her first and only choice for that honor in recent years. Then ‘Hevon’ divorced.

Working with cold science, Hilary is attempting to become a mother. The single status she and Devon share naturally make both people available for the other. ‘Hevon’ Part 2, followed by a baby would be ideal. So will their story be written in that direction?

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) could make it to the altar but then face tragedy. It would seem odd to have Morrow’s character lose a second consecutive spouse to the great beyond, but this is a soap where bizarre outcomes are always possible.

Due to Egan’s announced departure, fans know that Chelsea’s storyline climax is rapidly approaching. Assuming that no recast of this character takes place, might Chick marry and then be destroyed by disaster?

Vickie (Amelia Heinle) and J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) seem to be revisiting the past. The brisk nature of their reconciliation winks at eventual remarriage plans. But J.T.’s heart condition implies a potential, sorrowful ending for this intended recoupling.

Fans took notice that Heinle recently mouthed these words during a dialogue exchange with Luckinbill, “…till death do us part.”. Did those words foreshadow the end of J.T.V before it restarts, or a shocking end after it begins again?
