“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, August 10, tease that Devon (Bryton James) will get a reminder of Hilary (Mishael Morgan). At the penthouse, Nate (Brooks Darnell) brings a package that was left outside Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) place. It contains some items for the baby, so Devon thinks maybe Hilary went shopping before her death.
Nate finds a note inside that clears things up. Some of Hilary’s fans purchased the gifts. Nate suggests that it’s difficult to keep reliving a loss, but Devon would rather not forget the love of his life. Over with Lily (Christel Khalil), she frets to Cane (Daniel Goddard) about her looming arraignment. Lily just wants to squeeze in as much family time as possible before she ends up in prison.

Cane speaks with Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) at Crimson Lights later. He does his best to reassure his anxious daughter and heads over to Devon’s place. Cane wants Devon to attend the hearing and help Lily out of her jam. He begs, but Devon intends on pushing for the maximum sentence instead.
Cane’s ready to brawl, but Nate hurls him to the ground. After Devon reiterates his stance, Cane bails and eventually meets up with Jack (Peter Bergman). Once Cane opens up about his struggles, Jack advises Cane to watch out for his family. He has to do everything in his power to protect them.
Cane’s really feeling the pressure, so he grabs the fam’s passports and books five one-way flights to Australia. He obviously thinks fleeing the country is Lily’s only option. Back with Jack, he finds Summer (Hunter King) and assure her that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) doesn’t want him back. Jack thinks Summer had better butt out of everybody’s business from now on.
Meanwhile, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) try to get Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) on their side. Phyllis disagrees about Billy and remains supportive of his plans. Kyle spots Jack soon after and rants about all the Jabot drama. He believes they’re the ones who need to be running the company.
Next, Summer and Kyle discuss her recent failure to seduce Bill. She’s not giving up, but Kyle thinks this is pointless. They decide to make a bet about whether Summer can hook up with Billy by the end of the month. If Summer pulls off her mission, she’ll receive Kyle’s sports car. If Kyle’s the winner, he’ll get Summer!

At Jabot, Jack pays Phyllis a visit and apologizes for the misunderstanding yesterday. They discuss the buildup to their meeting and determine that Summer was being sneaky. Phyllis gets choked up over Jack’s lingering love. She thought he hated her, so it means a lot to know he still cares.
Nevertheless, Phyllis is committed to Billy now. Jack accepts that and contends that Billy had better do right by her. He doesn’t want to see Phyllis get hurt. Later, Ashley reaches out to Jack and asks for a favor. She urges him to use his position at Dark Horse and buy the leasing company that Jabot’s using. That way they can cancel the leases and thwart Billy’s Jabot boutique idea.
Jack seems somewhat interested, so Billy could get double-crossed soon. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say the excitement’s about to rev up. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news comes in. Stay tuned to see what’s next in Genoa City.
