The Young and the Restless SHOCKER: J.T. Not Back – Nick Stalking Victor Wearing Mask, Y&R Steals GH Mask Twist!

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that the CBS soap opera has pulled a fast one on fans, and J.T. Hellstrom [Thad Luckinbill] is not back after all.

Despite the fact that Nikki Newman [Melody Thomas Scott] murdered J.T. with a firepoker, and he was buried in Chancellor Park – he was spotted on security cameras.  The not-so-dead J.T. reached out to his nemesis Victor Newman and even set up a meeting.  But, it was not J.T. that arrived for the big showdown.

According to Y&R spoilers, Victor gets the shock of his life when he meets with J.T.  Prepared to end the battle once and for all, The Moustache is thrown for a loop when J.T. demands to know if he will “kill his own son,” and then peels off his face to reveal that he is really Nick Newman [Joshua Morrow].

So, it looks like The Young and the Restless stole a play from General Hospital, and Nick Newman has been running around Genoa City with a J.T. Hellstrom mask on.  One of the most iconic and memorable GH twists is the never-ending Faison mask twists.

Nick’s motives were pretty clear.  What better way to get back at Victor and cause him to become unhinged than stalking him as J.T.  Nick’s scheme was pretty successful, after all Christian is back at his rightful home.

Of course, this opens a slew of new questions.  Is J.T. really dead?  Just because he is not the one stalking Victor doesn’t mean he’s not out there somewhere.  Second of all, does Nick know that his mother, sister, ex-wife, and future wife murdered J.T. and covered it up?  How else could he pull this off if he didn’t know J.T. was not coming back?
