Cane Ashby appears and says he doesn’t agree with what she is doing, but will be by her side. Later, Michael arrives and tells Lily her story matches the truck drivers. He has asked Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) to meet them there. He warns Lily to keep her answers short. Paul arrives and turns on his recorder.

Lily then reveals she ran the red light and she is the reason Hilary Curtis is dead. Michael interrupts to talk with her. Paul thinks it’s a good idea. They continue and Lily talks about Hilary losing the baby. Michael interrupts again. Paul is upset that Lily did not come forward right away with the information. After they are done Lily wants Cane to hold her.

Paul comes back after talking to Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell), who will decide how to proceed. Michael is upset that Lily blurted out repeatedly and let’s her know she could be looking at two counts of vehicular homicide and get up to twenty years in the state penitentiary.
