The Young and the Restless is looking for plenty of new faces to join their show in the coming weeks. As a matter of fact, there’s a new report that says the highly rated daytime television soap is looking for plenty of people to fill in for dayplayers, recurring roles, and extras.
Here’s what you need to know. According to a new report, the soap is looking for a character by the name of Timothy, who is an aspiring rock star that is waiting tables.
They are also looking to cast men and women in their early 20s for background roles. They are described as people with stylish wardrobe that also look physically fit, too. In addition, The Young and the Restless is looking for homeless people for their background scenes.
Also, the soap is looking for “trendy music types” of any ethnicity from the ages of 21 to 35 to play music industry hipsters and groupies in background scenes. If that weren’t enough, the show is also casting for attractive male models to appear in background scenes (you have to be tall) along with fit female and male actors over the age of 21 to play law enforcement officers.
