General Hospital Spoilers Wednesday, January 17: Ava Jerome Haunted By Her Past – Morgan Corinthos Visits From The Other Side

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, January 17, 2018 reveal a special episode will air focusing on Ava Jerome (Maura West) as she undergoes the long anticipated reconstructive surgery to fix the last scars left from the horrible fire from her warehouse last year.

General Hospital spoilers show Ava being reassured that when she wakes up she will be a “new” woman; could this transformation also be an internal one, as previews show while Ava is under anesthesia she is haunted by her past.

Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) tells Ava that she doesn’t even think about her any more; which is really hard to imagine considering their history.  Ava had an affair with Dr. Silas Clay (Michael Easton) while he was still married to Nina; their affair ended up with them having a daughter, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) while Nina ended up barren.

GH sources show Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) who is also a snake similar to Ava Jerome, toasting to her at the grand opening of her new art gallery.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) stands over Ava, while she lies in her hospital bed, just rescued from the burning building.  She angrily tells her that she will never rest until the world sees her for the ugly soul that she is.

Ava continues to have flashbacks to when Kiki came to visit her, asking if everything was okay but it was one of those times that Ava was desperate to hide something from her, very typical of Ava!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava also visualizes opening her front door and finding a hurt Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) on the other side, pleading for her to help him.  How will Ava cope with her guilty conscience while she is in surgery?  Will it change her attitude once she recovers and will it make her redeemable in GH fans’ eyes?
