General Hospital spoilers indicate that the walls are closing in on Obrecht [Kathleen Gati]. Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] and Curtis’ investigation means they are getting closer to busting Obrecht as Peter’s abductor. Also, Peter August [Wes Ramsey] is desperate for one last plan to help free him from Obrecht’s chains. That is if Nina is willing to help him.
In fact, General Hospital co-head writer Shelly Altman tells Soap Opera Digest that Peter is willing to do and say just about anything to get out of the situation that he’s in.
He’s even threatening that if he does get released, that Nina might be guilty of being an accessory to murders should Obrecht finally pull the plug on him. That’s why he’s trying to work with her – in order to save both of them at the same time.
Altman tells the publication, “He promises that if she lets him go, he won’t rat her out. Obrecht sees her wavering. She has to try to keep her on point, like, ‘Come on, we’ve got to do this! You can’t weaken! He got your brother killed and we need justice for Nathan!’”
Of course, Nina is nowhere near as evil as Obrecht is. No matter what happens, she knows that her conscious will hang over her like a dark cloud for the rest of her life. She’s tempted to take Peter’s offer, but at the same time, she knows that he might turn against her. Fans will just have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
