General Hospital Spoilers Monday, August 13: Ava Attacks Griffin – Dr. Bensch Expects Victory – Jason and Robert Join Forces

“General Hospital” spoilers for Monday, August 13, tease that Cameron (William Lipton) will be on the hot seat. Liz (Rebecca Herbst) was stunned to see her son at the police station, so she’ll demand an explanation. Cameron got caught shoplifting, but he’ll try to downplay his crime. He’ll do his best to calm his mother, but that plan won’t really work out.

Liz will wonder if Cam had a partner in crime, but he’ll insist that he acted alone. That’s true since Joss had no idea he was going to swipe the earbuds. However, Cameron will want to be careful about how much he reveals. Josslyn stole a few things a while back, so Cam will try to keep her out of this. He won’t want Joss’ actions to catch up with her.

During a chat with Oscar (Garren Stitt), Josslyn will end up defending Cameron. Oscar will suggest that he’s been a bad influence, but Josslyn will think she’s the one who’s guilty of that. Speaking of guilt, Griffin (Matt Cohen) will face plenty of it on the stand. He’ll realize he’s about to blow up Kiki’s (Hayley Erin) trial with his next admission, but what else can he do?

Griffin’s under oath, so it seems the truth has to come out publicly. “General Hospital” spoilers say Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva) will be tickled pink. He’ll be impressed with Scott (Kin Shriner) for turning this case around, but he won’t think they can relax yet. Dr. Bensch will push Scott to keep up all the pressure.

Other GH spoilers say Kiki will fret about the trial outcome. She’ll ask Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) if the case can still be won. Alexis might suggest that anything’s possible, but the look in her eyes won’t exactly express confidence. Kiki will fear that everything she’s been fighting for will be destroyed. She’ll certainly have concerns about her broken bond with Ava (Maura West) as well.

Once Griffin’s testimony concludes, he’ll offer Ava a sincere apology. Griffin will want to explain everything, but Ava won’t care about his excuses. She’ll slap him across the face in a moment of pure rage. Meanwhile, Anna (Finola Hughes) will fret about the danger Finn’s (Michael Easton) in. She’ll hate the thought of him putting his life on the line.

Of course, Finn will contend that he’d do anything to protect Anna. He’ll count on them both getting out of this mess unharmed. Elsewhere, Robert (Tristan Rogers) will contact Jason (Steve Burton). He’ll reveal that Anna and Finn are in a real bind, so Jason will ultimately agree to help.

Jason will also push Robert to consider all options. Robert previously assumed Anna was the intended target, but Jason will wonder how he can be positive about that. Once he thinks about it, Robert may concede that Finn could be the one the kidnappers were truly after.

Since Finn’s been tasked with healing a sick patient, it sounds like Jason’s instincts will be spot-on. We’ll give you updates as other “General Hospital” news and rumors emerge.
