General Hospital Jessica Tuck Says Good-Bye To Fans - Cassandra Taken Down By Her Own DrugsGeneral Hospital’s Jessica Tuck is saying her final good-bye to the series. That’s because her character Cassandra’s life has just come to a dramatic end. The drug-trafficking villain has lapsed into a coma.

Jessica told CBS Soaps in Depth that Cassandra’s “swan song” happened very quickly. As a matter of fact, for the longest time she didn’t even know what was going on or how long she would last. Jessica told the publication, “I figured that every week that I continued to work, I was on borrowed time. There was a flurry at the end of the scripts and I said to my family, ‘I think I’m going down! I’m getting really evil and awful.’”

She added, “I was sad to see that it was coming to an end, for sure, because I was having such a nice time on the show, but so grateful to have lasted as long as I did.”

What’s more, Jessica isn’t bitter about her departure at all. She also said that she will miss all of the friends she made during her run on General Hospital, especially Michelle Stafford, James Patrick Stuart, Finola Hughes and Michael Easton.

“Everyone absolutely took care of me and were also just really nice to get to know as people. I just felt very comfortable with all of them, which was nice, and the crew there is just incredible. Top to bottom, I was really impressed by the whole community of people at General Hospital.”
