General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint that James Patrick Stuart may be leaving GH, and the role of Valentin Cassadine. General Hospital actors’ comments on tweets to James Patrick Stuart’s birthday seem to be hinting at an exit for the actor and possibly the character Valentin.
James Has A Pilot That Could Be Picked Up This Summer
James filmed a pilot a while back and it could be picked up this summer. If that happens, James could very possibly leave GH because he wouldn’t be able to do both shows. A few social media messages suggest he might be doing just that .
Chloe Lanier tweeted, “Happy birthday to the insanely talented @japastu ! You elevate the work of everyone around you. Your ease as an actor is remarkable to watch and I’m lucky to have worked with you.” And Michelle Stafford posted this on Instagram adding to the suggestion that he may be gone

Time will tell if James is leaving or not but something seems to be in the wind with these two comments.
Valentin Has Never Been Helpful
Valentin Cassidine has never made a habit of helping anyone. Alexis has never wanted anything to do with Valentin either. For years Valentin has supposedly been the most feared Cassidine, even Helena didn’t want to tangle with him. The only times we saw anything remotely close to the man everyone described was on Cassidine Island and fighting for his daughter Charlotte. Valentin, for the most part, lives his life and doesn’t make waves, but he doesn’t offer help for no reason either.
Alexis’ Mother’s Things
How did Valentin even find Alexis’ mother’s watch? Alexis has been all over Windemere and never found anything. Helena would have gotten rid of anything connected to the mistress after she killed her. Why would Valentin have these items at all?
Could Valentin be Alexis’s full brother and have saved this stuff to remember his mother by? Could there be a reason that Valentin is giving them to Alexis now, maybe he plans to go somewhere?
Nina Wants A Divorce
Nina has already told Valentin that she wants a divorce. Valentin has lied to Nina through their entire marriage, so who could blame her? If Valentin’s thirty-day plan fails, he promised not to fight Nina on the divorce.
Could Valentin be planning his exit and be giving Alexis things that he knows she would want because he doesn’t plan to return? Does Valentin realize deep down that there is no hope at all for his relationship with Nina?
Could Valentin Be Killed Off?
Is it possible that Peter might get free and kill Valentin himself? After all, Valentin is responsible for Peter being raised by Faison. Could Peter try to kill Anna and Valentin sacrifice himself to save her? Could another Cassidine show up and kill off Valentin themselves?
If Valentin does exit, there are several possibilities for his exit. Some people love Valentin and some hate him but GH losing James Patrick Stuart would be a shame either way. James is an amazing actor and one most of us would hate to see go.
