General Hospital RECAP Tuesday, July 17: The Walls Are Closing In On Liesl And NinaTuesday July 18 General Hospital recap kicks off with Finn (Michael Easton) geting a text from Anna (Finola Hughes), apologizing that they keep missing each other.

Finn Tells Valentin There Is No West Niles Outbreak

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) tells Finn he needs to be tested for West Niles Virus.  Finn says that the CDC did not alert him and asks what he really wants.  Finn shows Valentin there is no warning about Spoon Island or anywhere else but agrees to test him anyway.

Valentin asks if this is where Finn kills him.  Finn warns Valentin not to distract him, death would be fast in his case. Finn asks Valentin if he has heard from Peter.  Valentin says he will notify Anna if he hears from Peter.

Maxie Grills Nina For Information

General Hospital’s Nina (Michelle Stafford) is fighting over where Valentin’s ads are put in the magazine.  Maxie (Kirsten Storms) walks up, takes her phone and saves the day.  Nina makes a comment about chaos in her life, Maxie wants to know what is wrong with her.

Maxie tells Nina she hasn’t seen her since she brought James home.  Maxie offers to help Nina, she knows this is not work stress and Nina tells her its Valentin.  Nina tells Maxie that Valentin is trying to drive her crazy. Nina’s food arrives and she leaves Maxie.

Peter Warns Liesl and  Nina

General Hospital’s Peter (Wes Ramsey) tells Liesl (Kathleen Gati) that Finn and Franco (Roger Howarth) are onto her. Liesl tells Peter that Finn and Franco aren’t riding to his rescue.  Peter tries to appeal to the mother in Liesl again. Peter tells Liesl that James needs her.  Liesl tells Peter she is an outsider, the only person who enjoys her company is Franco.  Liesl tells Peter she doesn’t care what happens to her.

Peter asks Liesl if she blames herself for Nathan’s death. If she had told Nathan years ago he could have protected himself and his family. Liesl says she deals with that every day, Peter tells Liesl she can kill him but never escape her own fate.  Peter tells Nina that Valentin will find him.

Peter tries to get Nina to turn this around and do something.  Peter tries to tell Nina that Liesl will kill him, he tries to tell her the walls are closing in, Sam and Drew suspect her.  Nina tells Peter she’s got this, a way out for both of them.

Curtis Wants Drew To Move On

General Hospital’s Drew (Billy Miller) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) talk about him and Sam (Kelly Monaco) and about Michael’s (Chad Duell) wedding. Curtis wants to know what it was like seeing Sam again.  Drew tells Curtis they had a casual conversation, they are adults.  Curtis tells Drew he needs a new woman.

Drew wants nothing to do with dating at the moment.  Drew tells Curtis he is playing double best man duty and getting to know his family. Curtis tells Drew not to let the opportunity pass him by.

Sam And Curtis Tell Jordan They Suspect Liesl

General Hospital’s Sam is talking to Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) when Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson)  shows up and wants to know to what extent Sonny (Maurice Benard)  and Jason (Steve Burton) were involved in Carly’s (Laura Wright) escape.

Sam tells Margaux that she doesn’t keep tabs on Jason but he was just as surprised as anyone else.  Margaux has issues with Jason having compassion for a Carly, Sam tells her she needs to try it. Curtis and Sam tell Jordan they suspect Liesl as the culprit.

Finn shows up and tells Jordan he has information for her.  Finn gives Jordan the notebook and explains about Wyatt (Patrick Gibbons) and the cabin. Finn tells Sam and Curtis he thought he was overreacting.  Sam tells Finn they suspect Liesl too.  Franco arrives at the PCPD and sees Finn there.

Franco ducks out before Finn can see him.  Curtis asks Sam what went down with her and Drew last night. Curtis asks Sam if she doesn’t think its time to move on.  Jordan comes in and tells Sam and Drew that the restraints are still on the bed and if the officers find evidence that Peter was there, they will arrest Liesl. Right now the evidence is circumstantial but they can bring her in for questioning.

Jason Spends Time With Jake

General Hospital’s Jason is on the phone telling Diane (Caroline Hennesy) to go over the judge’s head and get someone there to check on Carly.  Jake (Hudson West) shows up and has invited Franco to go to the game with him and Jason. Franco talks to Jake and tells him he can’t go to the game but encourages him to go with Jason. The game has been canceled again.

Jake and Jason talk in the park. Jake wants to know if Jason believes in fate.  Jake has called Drew to meet him and Jason. Jason tells Jake he is okay with him inviting Drew.  Jake asks Jason if it was hard coming back after being gone so long.  Jake tells Jason that he had problems when he came home too.  Jake talks about getting along with his brothers, but he has his two dads together, they are all family.  Jason tells Jake but he and Drew love him a lot.  Drew tells Jake he needs to go back to work since the game is canceled.

Jason offers to play catch with Jake and tells him he has a good arm.  Jake asks Jason if he thinks Sam is worth going after. Jason tells Jake that sometimes people need to think and that is what Sam is doing, Jake was talking about a, not Sam McCall.

Liz Tells Franco To Go To The Police

General Hospital’s Finn and Franco talk, they discuss Peter and Liesl. Finn tells Franco that Wyatt probably didn’t recognize Peter because he’s been held for weeks now. Franco tells Liz that he thinks Liesl has done something illegal and covering for her was a bad idea.

Franco tells Liz about the new book and Wyatt.  Liz tells Franco he needs to go to the police right now. Finn gets back to the hospital and Liz tells him that Franco told her everything about the cabin.  Liz tells Finn that Franco decided to go to the police too, Finn says he must have gotten there after he left

General Hospital’s Maxie calls Amy to join her at the Metrocourt. The actor Nina hired is there for a job and Valentin walks in right after he asks directions to the manager’s office.  Maxie tells Valentin he’s being selfish and should leave Nina alone. Maxie tells Valentin he has Nina twisted up and she doesn’t know what she is doing.  Maxie tells Valentin nothing is going to make up for giving Peter to Faison.

Valentin tells Maxie he had no idea what would happen, she points out nice family vs Faison.  Maxie tells Valentin to get out of Nina’s orbit.  Maxie tries to convince Valentin that Nina is already gone.  Valentin recognizes the bartender.

Margaux Offers To Buy Drew A Hotdog

Drew leaves Jake and Jason and walks through the park.  As Drew walks past the hotdog cart, Margaux accidentally squirts mustard on his shirt.  Margaux apologizes and Drew licks mustard off his finger.   Margaux tries to clean Drew’s shirt, she gives him her card and offers to clean his shirt. Margaux and Drew talk about the game and she offers to buy him a hot dog next time.
