Days of Our Lives RECAP Tuesday, July 17: Gabi Vows Revenge On Stefan, An Emotional Goodbye

Today’s Days of Our Lives Tuesday July 17 recap kicks off with Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) geting a call telling her that J.J. (Casey Moss) claimed the drugs in his apartment.

Jennifer Blame Theresa For J.J.’s Drug Use

Roman (Josh Taylor) asks if everything is ok, Jennifer tells him what happened. Jennifer doesn’t understand what J.J. has done but wants to blame Theresa (Jen Lilley).

Days of Our Lives’ Theresa and J.J. arrive back at his apartment. Theresa wanted Brady (Eric Martsolf) back too so she doesn’t feel like celebrating. Theresa still believes Brady planted the drugs, both admit that Brady isn’t a good role model now.

Theresa suggests Tate (Colin and Kyle Schroeder) needs someone like J.J. to look up to. J.J. didn’t mean himself, Theresa tells him Tate would be lucky to have him in his life. Theresa tells J.J. how he could get into serious trouble over this, but she’s grateful she is to have him as a friend.

Theresa tells J.J. she’s going to miss living there. J.J.  got used to the company and will miss her. Theresa tells J.J. they both must have grown up, he tells her the door is always open for her and Tate.

Theresa Picks Up Tate

Days of Our Lives’ Brady tells Justin (Wally Kurth) he won’t hand Tate over to Theresa. Eve (Kassie DePaiva) arrives to comfort Brady, rough doesn’t describe how he feels. Brady wonders how this happened, he can’t give Tate to Theresa.

Eve confesses to Brady that he lost Tate because of her. Brady wants to know what Eve is talking about. Brady asks Eve what happened, she said he should have chosen Theresa in the first place. Brady tells Eve this isn’t her fault, they should blame J.J. for what happened today.

Brady needs to prove that those drugs were J.J.’s. Eve thinks that he needs to let the drugs go. Eve tells Brady she may have a way to fix this once and for all. The only way Theresa will back down is if she leaves him. Brady wants to run off with Tate and Eve, she tells him no.

Eve tells Brady that leaving the country would be kidnapping and they cannot do that. A social worker shows up to assure Brady gives Tate to Theresa. Brady tells the social worker that the nanny has Tate. Theresa knocks on the door and has Tate, she brought him up to see Brady.

Brady tells Tate they need to talk man to man. He explains to Tate that he’s going to live with his mommy a little while. Tate wants to know if Brady is coming too. Theresa tells Brady he can video chat with Tate in the morning and she didn’t want this to be this way.

Gabi Professes Hate To Stefan

Days of Our Lives’ Gabi looks at the test results again and we see her and Abby talk. Gabi talks about Stefan (Tyler Christopher) and Abby ruining her life as he walks up. Stefan wants to talk to Gabi about Gabi Chic.

Stefan asks Gabi what could be more important than her company. Gabi tells Stefan she has been thinking about him. she can’t have kids and it’s his fault. He insists that hurting her was never his goal.

Gabi tells Stefan he put a fictional person above her and changed her life forever. Stefan offers to do anything he can to help Gabi, even to find a team of the best doctors to help Gabi. But, she believes in revenge and people like him should be punished.

Gabi wants Stefan to suffer like she has. Stefan tells Gabi that he’s not going to compare their hurt. Stefan tells Gabi he is throwing himself into Dimera and Gabi Chic will be much better if they work together. Gabi plans to make all hell break loose.

Chad Still Wants Another Baby

Days of Our Lives’ Chad (Billy Flynn) walks in the room with Abby (Marci Miller) and startles her. Abby was thinking about Gabby (Marci Miller) and Stefan. Abby blames herself for Gabi not being able to have kids, Chad tells her this isn’t her fault.

Chad tells Abby this is all Stefan’s fault and he can’t touch them anymore. Abby tells Chad that Stefan will always be there as long as there is a part of him around. Abby explains that Stefan is his brother and will always be around.

Chad tells Abby they have a wonderful son and he wants another baby. Abby thinks back to her conversation with Gabi and she starts to tell him about the baby, Jennifer calls and interrupts. Abby updates Chad on J.J.s issues and he hopes everything is okay.

Abby understands why Lana lied to J.J. Chad and Abby kiss, he goes to read to Thomas. Abby calls Gabi to talk, she knows what she has to do about the baby.

Theresa Tells Roman, She Was Framed

Days of Our Lives’ Theresa arrives at the pub and talks to Roman. Theresa tells Roman the case didn’t go down the way she wanted. Theresa wanted to work things out with Brady but he double-crossed her at the last minute.

Theresa tells Roman that Brady tried to make her look like a bad mom. Roman figures out that J.J. took the fall to help her. Theresa asks Roman if she can stay there. Roman tells Theresa she can’t stay there, she tells him she will miss J.J.s place.

J.J. Gets Suspended

Days of Our Lives’ Jennifer shows up at J.J.s and he tells her the drugs were not his. J.J. tells Jennifer that Theresa was set up and Brady did it. Jennifer believes that the drugs aren’t J.J.s but not that Brady planted the drugs.

J.J. tells Jennifer that Brady is ruthless and will do whatever he has to in order to get his way. J.J. makes Jennifer a cup of tea and tells her this is all going to go away. J.J.’s boss calls and he gets suspended from work. Jennifer wants J.J. to come clean, he refuses. Jennifer blames Theresa for putting J.J. in this position. J.J. tells Jennifer Brady did this and she says he won’t get away with this.
