General Hospital RECAP Thursday, May 24: Nelle Believes She Has The Upper Hand

“General Hospital” (GH) recap for Thursday, May 24, 2018, reveals Ava (Maura West) knocking on Griffin’s (Matt Cohen) hotel door, he and Kiki (Hayley Erin) are still in bed.

Ava Apologizes To Griffin

Ava begs Griffin to open the door, Kiki goes to the bathroom while he does. Ava tells Griffin she was petty and jealous last night and understands that he didn’t want to deal with her. Ava apologizes, she’s embarrassed and sorry and wants Griffin to give her another chance. Griffin can’t get past the fight with Ava. Ava tells Griffin she hurt him first because she was scared and asks him if he can forgive her. Griffin asks Ava to please not ask for forgiveness.

Ava tells Griffin she was wrong about he and Kiki and are glad they are close, he tries to tell her what happened. Ava says there is nothing Griffin can’t tell her, his phone goes off, its Kiki telling him to keep quiet. Griffin ushers Ava out the door telling her he needs to get ready. Kiki comes out and tells Griffin Ava can never know they slept together, they must pretend it never happened. Kiki tells Griffin to forgive Ava and leaves. Griffin take a shower and comes out in a towel, Ava comes to the door and wants to finish their conversation and they kiss.

Carly Tells Michael She Would Never Hurt Her Grandchild

General Hospital’s Sonny (Maurice Benard) is at the PCPD, Carly (Laura Wright) joins him. Sonny brings Carly coffee, she asks about Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and the baby. Carly tells him she will prove she didn’t push Nelle down the stairs. Carly hasn’t heard from Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), Sonny sent her by the house to get her clothes. Carly wants to know who is with Mike (Max Gail), Sonny tells her Stella (Vernee Watson) is. Sonny tells Carly about performing with Mike.

Carly wants to know if Sonny has heard from Michael. Diane doubts Carly will be home tonight and tells Sonny he cannot talk to a judge. Michael (Chad Duell) shows up to talk to Carly, he wants to hear her side of the story. Michael tells Carly about his conversation with Jason. Carly tells Michael that Nelle kept bring up Morgan (Bryan Craig) during the whole shower. Carly tells Michael how she figured out Nelle was haunting her and that she was going to tell him.

Carly says Nelle ran out, she followed and grabbed the blanket but did not push Nelle, “that’s the God’s honest truth”. Michael tells Carly there was no blanket, she assures him Jason will find it and that she would never endanger her grandchild. Carly tells Michael he is the fairest person she knows and she knows he will keep an open mind. Michael tells Carly he loves her and leaves.

Diane and Sonny Don’t Believe Carly

General Hospital’s Diane tells Sonny that Carly might not get bail because she’s a flight risk. Diane and Sonny think Carly is gone further than she realizes. Sonny and Diane join Carly, Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) hasn’t found anything yet. Diane points out that Carly has a violent past and has been in a mental institution. Diane refers to Carly as the merciless wife of a known gangster and she is facing 25 years. Sonny wants Carly to let the professional’s help her, she says like you do? Sonny says he supports Carly but isn’t going to tell her what she wants to hear. Carly tells Sonny that bitch will not take her down.

Nelle Believes She Has The Upper Hand

Nelle hears Michael asks if she’s awake and pretends to be mediating when he comes in. Nelle is being discharged. Joss (Eden McCoy) shows up and bring Nelle a stuffed animal for the baby. Joss wants to know what happened Nelle tells her Carly pushed her. Nelle tells Joss she should be with Carly not her. Nelle tells Joss Carly needs compassion right now. Nelle goes on to say from the look in Carly’s eyes, she wanted her and the baby was gone.

Nelle tells Joss that the good thing is this is bringing her and Michael closer. Joss questions if they are back together, Nelle says not yet but it looks like they will be. Later Michael rejoins Nelle, who asks about Carly, “she’s not doing good “. Nelle tells Michael he still has her and the baby. Michael has a meeting at ELQ but is working at the Quartermaine’s afterward so he will be right there with her if she needs anything.

Kim Is Concerned About Drew’s Safety

Drew (Billy Miller) and Kim (Tamara Braun) talking over coffee. Drew tells Kim she shouldn’t settle for being runner-up, same goes for him she replies. Kim tells Drew she went into this with Julian (William DeVry) because she was lonely. Kim tells Drew that his personality shows through sometimes. Drew tells Kim that Andre (Anthony Montgomery) says he can remove Jason’s memories but there is no proof he can regain his memory without the flash drive. Kim is afraid something could go wrong if Drew does this and Oscar would lose his father. Oscar (Garren Stitt) joins Kim and Drew and has news about his editorial. Drew wants details on the assembly and Kim is picking up ice cream to celebrate later tonight.

Alexis Throws Julian Out

Julian shows up at Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) door with flowers. Julian wants to talk to Alexis, she lets him in. Julian tells Alexis she didn’t deserve to be cast aside like Finn (Michael Easton) did her. Julian wants Alexis to be happy and with a man who will lay down his life for her. Alexis tells Julian that would be nice but that cannot be him. Julian tells Alexis she is trying to change. Julian and Alexis discuss music and the back seat of his car. Julian wants her to keep the flower, they kiss. Alexis tells Julian to go and makes him leave before throwing the flower vase across the room.

Joss Goes To Nelle Instead Of Carly

Oscar and Joss talk about their performance. Joss tells Oscar she’s afraid Carly really did push Nelle. Joss goes back and joins Oscar, she tells him she went to see Nelle instead of her mom.
