General Hospital News: Alumni Richard Burgi Joins New SoapWe’ve got good news for Richard Burgi fans. The General Hospital alum has just joined the cast of a new ABC soap. Here’s what we know so far.

Remember Paul Hornsby On General Hospital?

Richard, who is best known for his role as Paul Hornsby in Port Charles, has a new role on the upcoming show Grand Hotel.

The series is executive produced by Hollywood actress Eva Longoria and is written by Brian Tanen. Richard will also be joining several other television stars who have joined the cast of the show: Bryan Craig, Marshall Jones and Adrian Pasdar.

According to reports, Grand Hotel is a drama set in Miami Beach and centers around a family who owns a business, the staff who runs it, and of course all of the crazy drama that is expected to happen. Richard Burgi will be playing the role of Michael Finn, the owner of the Finn Hotel Group.

Deadline writes, “Mr. Finn might seem charming, but this shrewd businessman’s presence in Miami Beach means trouble for the Mendoza family and the staff of the Riviera Grand.”

TWO General Hospital Stars On Grand Hotel

It sounds like Richard definitely has an exciting role! And while it doesn’t look like the handsome actor will be returning to Port Charles anytime soon, it will be fun to see him share screen time with another General Hospital alum, Bryan Craig, who fans remember as Morgan Corinthos. We will definitely keep Grand Hotel on our radar as this is one drama that we can’t wait to see.
