Days of Our Lives star Kate Mansi has a new exciting project that she’s working on. The stunning brunette has teamed up with Homeward LA and other Hollywood stars to bring awareness to what many would call an important “life situation.” Fans know Kate best as her Daytime Emmy award-winning role as Abigail from the hit NBC soap.
According to reports, the new partnership will tell the powerful and joyful stories in order to inspire citizens to get involved with the homeless problem in and around Los Angeles right now. Statistics show that Los Angeles County’s homelessness problem is increasing every year and has even surged 75 percent in the last six years.
The project will be directed and produced by Kate and Kevin Rodriguez. What’s more, there will also be a 10-day citywide event, which multiple productions of several different monologues based on those who have suffered through homelessness will perform. The project’s organizers are hoping that this will be a way to increase awareness of the problem in the area.
The event is sponsored by The Midnight Mission, a non-profit organization. If you want to get tickets or learn more about this project, check out https://m.bpt.me/event/3376329. The performance begins April 14. The show might not be suitable for young children. This is an event that is very close to Kate Mansi’s heart and we can’t wait to hear more about it!
In the meantime, Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on the NBC network. We wish Kate nothing but the best with Homeward LA and can’t wait to see more of her in the future. Let us know what you think in our comments section below.
