Y&R Alum Michael Muhney Shares Great News With His Fans

The Good Doctor is fast becoming the must-watch television program of the season. It’s gotten plenty of rave reviews from both critics and fans. And now it looks like former The Young and the Restless star Michael Muhney has managed to stay on the show a little longer than what was initially expected. Reports indicate that he will be guest starring on the show for at least two episodes.

Many The Young and the Restless fans remember the 42-year-old actor as Adam Newman on the hit daytime television series. He left the show back in 2014. And now Michael is flexing his acting muscles by making the switch to primetime television.

Michael shared his good news on Twitter by writing, “Set your DVR! Two weeks from today (October 23rd) I’ll be arriving in the @GoodDoctorABC universe!!!”

For a lot of Michael’s fans, they are excited to see him appear on more than just one episode. Right now no one knows if Michael is simply starring as a guest actor or if he’ll be a recurring role in the future. Either way, fans will just have to tune in to see what will happen next!

Michael has only starred in a few movies in the last couple of years, including the television movie Correcting Christmas, The Track and 2016’s Search Engines. If all goes well for him on The Good Doctor, there’s a chance that fans will be seeing more of him in the future. Keep your fingers crossed!

So far Michael hasn’t shared any details about his secret role. The series airs on ABC in the U.S. and on CTV in Canada. Tell us, are you excited to see Michael Muhney in the Good Doctor?
