Hilary is hanging on by a thread, hoping she will beat the odds and Devon won’t ever completely remember why he stormed out of the Abbott-Winters Foundation charity benefit on New Years’ Eve.

After releasing Devon to Hilary’s care, Stitch Rayburn [Sean Carrigan] advised Abby Newman [Melissa Ordway] and Lily Ashby [Christel] not to discuss the crash because it will put too much stress on Devon. The ladies comply with Stitch’s instructions, but Lilly is waiting for an opening so she can tell Devon everything. Eventually, Hilary’s luck will run out.

‘Y&R’ spoilers indicate that with Devon’s memory of that night at the Top of the Tower slowly returning, he will start asking Hilary questions about what happened on New Year’s Eve. Why was he alone in the car? Why was he driving 140 miles per hour?

Hilary do her very best to deflect and not directly answer any of Devon’s questions. If Devon’s amnesia from that night continues, Hilary gets yet another fresh start. But, if he clearly recalls everything that happened, Hilary won’t have a change in Hades of repairing the marriage.

‘The Young and the Restless’ viewers know at some point Devon is going to recall enough information about Hilary and Mariah Copeland’s [Camryn Grimes] confrontation. The memories may trickle in, but eventually, Devon is going to put the pieces together.

During Devon’s convalescence, Hilary will spend lots of time reminding Devon of all the wonderful things they have shared. Hilary will go out of her way to ensure Devon is happy and knows just how much his wife loves him.

Even if Devon remembers everything that happened the night of the Abbott-Winters Foundation charity event, there may be the slimmest of chances he will once again forgive Hilary. How many times can one man forgive his wife’s lies and conniving ways? ‘The Young and the Restless’ viewers are waiting to find out.
