The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick Furious At Victor For Speaking To Faith – Moustache Did Right By Granddaugher

No, Victor (Eric Braeden) is not always the bad guy on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Yes, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and all ‘Moustache’ detractors everywhere disagree. But Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is better off for having heard about the latest family changes from Victor before she returned to Genoa City.

Imagine being 10, going away to summer camp, and learning about multiple family member changes when you were taken to your new home. Well, Faith was shielded from that eventuality by Victor’s thoughtful gesture.

Yes, he was trying to get ahead of the curve. Who can blame him, besides detractors?

If Victor didn’t tell his driver to head to Faith’s summer camp, he likely wouldn’t have had direct access to his granddaughter, or if he did, wouldn’t have been able to speak directly to her. And Nick fans should take note that Victor didn’t bash him in front of Faith.

Victor was actually soft-peddled why Nick moved out of the Tack House and to Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) and why Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) opted to move to a hotel in GC. Doing so presented the facts to her without slanting her view of the situation. Now she has time to digest matters before speaking with her parents.

At this point it would be best for Faith to live with Sharon (Sharon Case) full-time, visit her dad when he’s available and also retain full access to Victor. All with a heart know that Victor doesn’t want to be alone in the main house, even though he’s the current cause of his isolation.

Nick is ever-ready to blame his dad for everything. That’s one reason why he instantly knee-jerked into kicking Victor this time.

Chelsea recognized that Faith would likely be thrown by the sudden, unannounced shift from the Tack House to her penthouse. She considered Faith’s feelings, not because she’d been a little girl herself, but because she’s a compassionate parent.

Morrow’s character has parented haphazardly. Sure, sometimes Sharon’s mental health issues forced him to be both mom and dad to the children he had with her. And, he’s done a great job in raising Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) after Sage (Kelly Sullivan) died. Of course that’s not his son and will be addressed in another storyline, someday.

Faith previously choose to distance herself from Nick and Sharon. This time, she’ll tag her dad as being inconsistent and also won’t see Victor as a villain.
