The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Juliet Loves Cane – She’ll Do Anything To Sustain Connection

Cane (Daniel Goddard) doesn’t trust Juliet (Laur Allen) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But it seems increasingly likely that she loves him, which should prove to be a difference-maker regarding the connection he’ll be allowed to have with his baby.

Now, to the pressing question. Is the baby Cane’s? Mr. Ashby’s requested paternity test will soon provide an answer, or at least a surface result.

Yes, countless supposedly scientific tests of this nature have provided false answers in the past. And viewers don’t know Juliet well enough to know if she would tamper with the results to make Cane appear to be the father if he’s not.

Juliet’s newness in Genoa City would seem to indicate that she doesn’t have the necessary connections to pull a switcheroo. However, she does have plenty of money due to the large settlement check that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) just handed her. And moola talks, as the videographer Cane bribed may one day attest to.

The Los Angeles situation was referenced when Cane arrived at Juliet’s Genoa City Athletic Club hotel suite. She advised that Billy (Jason Thompson) had blown the Professional Hockey League deal. Cane knows that he’s the guilty party in that instance, but said nothing.

The issue noted was raised because Juliet’s love for Cane will be tested whenever the truth is pushed out about his nefarious role in the DARE commercial shoot sabotage. It was that situation that resulted in Juliet being fired by Vickie. She was then coerced by Hilary (Mishael Morgan) into filing the harassment suit against Cane and Brash and Sassy.

Cane’s credibility has already been damaged. But everyone will surely erupt when they learn what he purposely did in LA. Cane may end up hoping that Juliet loves him. Because if this apparent fact is true, that overriding factor may cause her to allow him unfettered access to his child. Of course that assumes he is biologically linked to the child as Miss Helton claims.
