The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack Temporarily Deflects Ashley's Wrath – Glack's Presence Looms

Jack (Peter Bergman) talked his way around Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) latest attack on ‘The Young and the Restless’. ‘Ash’ learned tidbits of information about her brother’s latest reckless act, but doesn’t have specifics. She surely won’t relent, as Mr. Abbott’s personal patterns never seem to change.

‘Glack’ is purely suspected at this time. Ashley doesn’t actually know what Gloria (Judith Chapman) is holding over Jack’s head, but she believes it must be damaging. There’s no way ‘Jackie’ would allow their father’s two-time ex-wife to be anywhere near Jabot, let alone work as his executive secretary unless something tawdry exists. And it does.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) learned that Vickie (Amelia Heinle) gained some type of leverage over Jack and used that in the Professional Hockey League deal. Jack recently told his loving sister that he’d reevaluated the situation, considered his sister’s opinions and withdrew Jabot’s offer. Ashley didn’t accept Jack’s perfumed pitch.

Despite his golden spoon, good intellect, embrace by many fine ladies and various other attributes, Jack is a screw up. Funny, that’s the tag he often applies to Billy (Jason Thompson). Surely there’s a psychological point of some sort in that last line.

This time Jack allowed himself to become entangled with Gloria. She screamed harassment to GC Buzz recently, but Hilary (Mishael Morgan) shut down her proposed expose. Yet that save merely gave Jack momentary breathing room.

With however she finds out, or when, Ashley is primed to lower the boom on her ever-contentious brother. Miss Abbott won’t allow him to remain in the CEO’s chair of their family company when she learns the full story of ‘Glack’. This coming family battle seems unavoidable.

However, viewers can’t count Jack out. His wily ways helped him to best the great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in the past. Checking morality, he’ll be up for a fight with Ashley. Power and revenge intoxicate ‘Jackie-boy’. So when his sister attempts to take his ball away, he’ll play dirty. At that point it’s also likely that Gloria will aid his cause, as she stands to loose everything if Ashley topples her boyfriend.
