General Hospital Spoilers: Is It Truly the End of Jane Elliot’s Reign as Tracy Quartermaine, Will She Return?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Jane Elliot has officially left the building on Thursday, May 4, 2017 and was heard saying this is the end of her portrayal of Tracy Quartermaine, the last Q of her generation, but is this really the end?

GH star, Nancy Lee Grahn, who portrays recovering alcoholic-attorney Alexis Davis admitted on social media that Elliot is thoroughly enjoying being away from the hustle and bustle of the quick-paced daytime drama world. She no longer maintains her staple auburn hair and has even shaved the side of her head.

Grahn, along with Laura Wright, who plays Carly Corinthos agree that when it comes to Jane Elliot, you can never say never. She may be saying she isn’t coming back but the soap stars strongly believe viewers will see her again.

Wright jokes that if Elliot were to return she would have to find new digs to settle in since she was given her dressing room.

Although her departure was announced months ago, General Hospital fans are still very emotional about her leaving, and her final scenes left no one with dry eyes. The powers that be, did a brilliant job with bringing Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) to complete her exit. How do you feel about the iconic Tracy Quartermaine bidding everyone farewell?

Jane Elliot arrived in Port Charles in 1978 and was the fifth longest character on the show. She played some epic storylines with beloved characters like Lila (the late-Anna Lee) and Edward Quartermaine who was portrayed by 4 different actors between 1978 and 2012.

Elliot went on to win two Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, 21 years apart! We would like to wish Jane Elliot the best in her future endeavors and will continue to hope she returns to Port Charles, every so often. She will be missed by GH fans everywhere.
