General Hospital Spoilers: Frank Valentini Teases Steve Burton’s Return To GH

General Hospital’s (GH) Executive Producer Frank Valentini recently spoke with TVLine and he had a lot to say about Steve Burton’s return to the show and we have those details here.

Executive Producer Frank Valentini did promise the arrival of someone who looks like the old Jason Morgan before his facial surgery and said it will definitely shake things up in Port Charles. He says “Jason’s life affects, like, 30 people on the show. There is almost nobody who won’t be affected by his return. That whole paradigm- Who’s the real Jason? How will people react to him? I find to be interesting.” Then he goes on to say that “No one has guessed it right. They think we’re making it up as we go along, when it’s all been laid out.” So apparently they have been working on the return of Steve Burton for quite some time now, 4 months to be exact!

Valentini said when he knew Steve was available and interested is when they started talking about what they could do to really spark interest on the show. Steve did recently let fans know that he would be back for a while on the show, while Frank says we will feel the effects of the encore for about 9 months before we settle into the next big thing. Bringing Steve back to look like the old Jason is really going to have heads turning in Port Charles! Steve not so long ago posted a picture on social media of him as Jason Morgan from a previous scene from the show using hashtags Jason or Not? So do you think he was trying to throw hints our way! Then Kelly Monaco posted a picture to social media as well with Billy Miller and he was holding up the deuces sign and fans took it as he was meaning 2 Jason’s! So could it be? Who is the real Jason?
