‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Agent Karl Reveals Info To Anna – Can She Handle The Truth About Valentin?

“General Hospital,” Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is so desperate to find out what’s hidden deep down in her psyche that she underwent hypnosis to uncover the truth. Although her shrink led her closer to the real deal going down in her brain, she’s still got unanswered questions about her past.

Like, what really happened all those years ago when she and snarky Valentin Cassadine (Patrick Stuart) were mates at the WSB? Anna knew all along that she was a spy destined for greatness, but only recently remembered that Val was a tormented analyst who had the hots for her during the 80’s.

Along with his unrequited love, young but brilliant Val was also burdened with a physical deformity and a stutter. When shy Val found the courage to come on to virtuous Anna on her birthday, she rejected him, and his world changed forever. According to Val.

Val claims that Anna’s rejection forced him to find the nerve to get surgery and therapy and claim his Cassadine birthright. He maintains that he harbors no ill will toward Anna, but she believes otherwise.

Now, in order to get the upper hand, Anna has enlisted the help of a former WSB employee. Will her former colleague be able to shed light on what actually happened between her and Val eons ago at the WSB training facility? Will her friend’s information shed light on Val’s real motivation for turning up in Port Charles?

Agent Karl, played by J. Downing, may have some intel for his old friend, but there’s no guarantee that Anna will believe what he has to tell her! Will Karl’s assistance prove to be a help or a hindrance to Anna’s investigation?
