General Hospital Recap July 25: Sam Shoots Sonny, Leaves Him To Die – Spencer Escapes – Robin In Labor

General Hospital Spoilers: GH Recap Tuesday July 25

Tuesday’s July 25 episode of General Hospital begins with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) at the PCPD showing Laura (Genie Francis) Spencer’s (Nicholas Bechtel) broken eyeglasses. Laura still insists Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) took Spencer.

Nina (Michelle Stafford) tells Anna (Finola Hughes) that Valentin did not take Spencer. Valentin arrives and tells Anna he can take care of himself. Anna leaves. Valentin tells Nina about being questioned by Jason (Billy Miller). Nina wants him to give the PCPD a statement. Valentin has no interest in pressing charges but Nina wants to avoid a possible parole violation.

Valentin arrives to the PCPD and Laura asks him what he has done with Spencer. Dante asks Valentin and Nina to sit in the interrogation room to give his statement. Spencer walks in and says he’s stacked books to escape out the window. Spencer is upset over his broken glasses but Laura carries an extra pair.

Valentin and Nina walk in. Valentin asks if he was rescued or turned himself in. Nina tells Spencer to admit Valentin had nothing to do with his disappearance. Spencer folds his arms and stares at Valentin.

General Hospital Spoilers: GH Recap Tuesday July 25

Carly (Laura Wright) tells Jason (Billy Miller) she might be naïve thinking Sonny (Maurice Benard) can make a clean break out of the MOB. Jason says he was able to and Carly reminds Sonny is the boss. Diane (Carolyn Hennessy) arrives and informs them that Max is now in charge of Sonny’s business. Diane calls Sonny a coward for not telling her. She concerned the higher the power the higher the risk of death. Jason says Max is ready to take over and leaves to check on Sam. Diane tells Carly she’s lucky Sonny is getting out of the mob without falling in a 6 foot ditch.

Sonny Left For Dead – Sam Brags To Jason – Obrecht Brings Hayden’s Past To Port Charles

Sam (Kelly Monaco) points a gun at Sonny and tells him she’s the one that is taking him down. Sonny tries to calm Sam but insists she’s protecting her children from him. Sonny gently moves closer to Sam. As he touches the gun he reminds Sam he would never hurt her or her family. Sam starts crying and shoots Sonny in the leg. Sonny struggles to stand up and tells Sam he knows she didn’t mean to shoot him. Sam says she did and kicks him into a deep pit. Sam throws the gun in the dumpster as Sonny lies unconscious in the bottom of the hole.




Jason arrives home and starts up the stairs to find Sam. Sam arrives home crying saying she had to keep her family safe. Jason is confused as to what she is trying to tell him. As Jason approaches Sam she faints. Jason carries her to the couch.

Maxi (Kirsten Storms) tells Nathan (Ryan Paevey) she’s in town for a 3 hour delay before her flight to Paris. Maxi mentions reading Man Landers and wonders how a blog can become a book. Nathan admits reading Man Landers and has something to tell her. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Mac (John J. York) see Maxie and run over their table. Anna arrives and tells everyone that Robin is in labor and she’s leaving tonight for California.

Felicia’ going to have the chef cook them a special meal. Maxie hints she and Nathan would like to be alone. They rush the newlyweds out the door. Later Maxie asks Nathan if he’s considered moving to Portland. Nathan says he can’t because of Nina. He can’t ask Maxie to move back because of Georgie. Maxie isn’t sure where that leaves them. Maxie says she’ll be back in a few weeks and asks what he was going to tell her earlier. Nathan starts to tell her but the sound of the car horn interrupts. Nathan says it’s nothing that can’t wait and Maxie leaves.
