The tale of the two Jasons has captivated “General Hospital” fans this summer, thanks to the return of Steve Burton. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has a serious challenge ahead, and fan theories about what Sam will do are adding to the suspense.

Remember how the “Cat In The Hat” included Thing One and Thing Two? Well, “General Hospital” has its own version of that story with Jason One and Jason Two. Steve Burton gets credit for originating the role of Jason Morgan in the early 1990s, and then Billy Miller took over the challenge of portraying that character.

However, now that Burton is returning to Port Charles, life for Sam potentially could get really confusing. After all, she’s married to Jason, so it seems as if only one Jason can win. Will it be Miller or Burton? Or is there a secret scheme in the works?

How Can Two Jasons Co-Exist In Port Charles?

Sam can’t have both of General Hospital’s bad boys, so some sort of shake-up seems inevitable. When Billy Miller initially took over the role of Jason Morgan in 2014, fans learned that Jason’s appearance had changed because he had face surgery after a car crash.

But when Steve Burton shows up and claims he’s the real Jason of Port Charles, will it turn out that the face surgery was a sham? And if so, what’s Jason One’s excuse for being gone so long? Was he in prison, hiding in a safe house because he witnessed a horrific crime and had to be secluded for his own safety, or suffering from amnesia?

And how did Jason Two know that he could go to Port Charles and pretend to be someone else? Is it possible that the two are related or even brothers, and planned the entire outrageous situation?
